As a first time parent, going through this the first time- terms are vague. I'm disappointed that there aren't a vast list of resources by state, after apply for aid what that means we keep choosing seminars, but that doesn't tell us where the money comes from. It doesn't show the Grants, Scholarships, School help, MassGrant or Grant Plus. I'm at a loss.

Nothing about filling out FAFSA, which is what I thought it would be. Too many people allowed to ask distracting Q & A during presentation. Save questions until the end.

The title was “You paid the college deposit, now what?” And 95% of the webinar was spent talking steps that happened BEFORE we paid the deposit! It was largely a waste of time because I didn’t get any info about next steps after the deposit is paid.

Used to be great as an low interest rate alternative to other private loans. Awful, terrible credit scoring and factors. At a 820+ credit score and high income and dti at 21%, they could not offer me the lowest rate even with the immediate payment option. Just don't bother. Not worth the credit pull!!!

We are on business day 6, and with a credit score well into the 800's, My loan is still in review. When asked if they would check into it I received a standard answer with no effort put in at all to see what the delay was. If this is an indication of what is to come, I will probably withdraw my application. Edit: Reduced to two stars. They continue to state "72 hours" as the time to approve an application. It has now been 9 business days. Tuition is due today. I've emailed two separate addresses (including the one mentioned below in their response to which I'm still awaiting a reply) and called countless times. No one cares and the agents are less than helpful, only providing standard answers. What should have been a simple, timely process has now caused undue stress on myself and my student. Very disappointing.

Questions weren't answered in the chat. The slides were maybe being re-used from last year?

Speaker was very confusng and person doing the answers to questions in the chat was not very helpful. Did not seem to understand the subject matter. And this is one off! As a rule, i thing the MEFA presentations are among the best out there. This one was not up to your usual standards.
