If you dont need someone to answer the phone when you call they would work. If you do you're gonna be out of luck. They're about as good as tmobile and Amazon pharmacy. When the Coward everybody elected started making cuts. My cuts cost me my Diabetes medicine. I cant afford them now. I was a Trump Supporter at one time. I put it on Gettr to vent. 4 people liked it and thought it was funny. 1 Donald Trump 2 Steve Bannon and 2 others I didn't know. That's who the real Donald Trump is. What's so funny about his cuts gonna kill me? Remember that when you vote in the Midterms. Hes revoked the Biden Subsidies for prescriptions for people on Medicare. If you dont have 2000 dollars a month for prescriptions you'll die. Way to go Maga he's laughing us poor folks

I called UHC-Medicare and was transferred multiple times. (1-1/2 hours total time). Their lack of knowledge and poor customer service is stunning. I finally spoke to someone who claimed to be a supervisor. I asked him to print me a report with all claims paid by UHC since Jan. 2025. I told him I did not want a copy of every single explanation of benefits that someone before him had offered to send. He said they probably didn't know how to create a report but he could do it because he was a supervisor and had the knowledge to print and mail me the report I requested. Today I received about 50 envelopes, all separate, not even boxed together. No report, no letter of explanation. This company is a joke. Unfortunately, I live in a very small town where there is only one other option, and they are just as bad. I guess I'll sign up for Medicare, pay the entire amount and hope my secondary insurance covers anything Medicare denies.

I had surgery for melanoma 11/2024. Since then, I've been under surveillance. In December 2025, I had a pet scan done at Memorial Sloane Kettering. At the time, I had United Healthcare Medicare Advantage (I've since switched to Original Medicare), and they denied a claim for a pet scan. The cost to me is $2,083.46. I contacted them, and they told me to put in an appeal, which I did, back in April. I have received no official response from them, even though my understanding is that they have 60 days to respond. I chatted with someone online a few weeks ago, and they told me that NO medicare advantage plan is contracted to pay for the pet scan I had (which is of course pure nonsense). I contacted DFS, who told me to call Medicare, and now I'm in an endless loop of getting no help. Now they've deleted all references to the appeal from their website.

I used their chat feature to find out what my copay would be for surgery in hospital twice! First person told me $70.00, second person told me $-250 that would be all since it's done in hospital/in patient. Incorrect! I find it appaling that UHC has such terrible customer service! Those people have no clue what you are asking for. UHC you can do better than that!

My wife & I have People's Health Medicare, which is owned by United Healthcare. Our call to People's Health lasted over an hour as we were given the run around. Asked for the benefits department but was sent by the automated attendant to the UCard information line. We already know our balance and are not looking to purchase an item. Finally got a real person who could not explain why the UCard limit had gone from $100/quarter to $75 in 2025 and is now at only $50 for 2026. Next, asked for the vision department and an agent calling himself Michael hung up on us when we asked why glasses were no longer covered every year, but only every two years. We both got new prescriptions from our optometrist yesterday, but now have pay for them because we're not covered until 2027, as we got new glasses in 2025. Finally got an agent named Rose who left the line for over 10 minutes and never returned to explain why it was now every two years. The next agent was Kathy and she had no answer for the change. She left the line for over 15 minutes. I think they're hoping one hangs rather than listen to their annoying music. One is not given the option to wait in silence. We had to hang up when the next agent broke up so badly that we couldn't hear a word. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & NEVER AN ANSWER!! Guess the answer is UHC & People's Health want to make more money off of their loyal clients.

I was having computer issues trying to download my premiums paid page. Rona B worked tirelessly to get my problem solved. It was after 9:00 PM Mountain Standard Time. She is professional, knowledgeable, and very kind. If every "chat" person had her helpful attitude, we would all live in a kinder world. I am so grateful for the help I received.

I submitted a dental reimbursement back in July it is now December I followed up at least five times since then I keep getting a person in another country who can barely speak or understand English as a result I'm still contacting United healthcare with no luck they keep telling me they're going to reissue the check this is the worst Medicare company any senior could ever use and I plan on switching this after 1 year with them stay away from this health care company

Just a scam. They profit from denying coverage.
