I ordered a Leap V1 chair. It arrived on time and in great condition, save for one joint on the back being damaged. Customer service was prompt, courteous, and offered to ship a replacement. I'm looking forward to receiving the replacement chair and expecting this to solve my issue. Assuming the replacement chair is good, I certainly recommend Madisonseating.

Very attentive customer service. I ordered a Leap V1 High Back chair. It arrived with structural damage to the backing of the chair. I Reached out to customer service and withing the minutes they responded offering to ship a new chair. Looking forward to receiving the replacement chair, if there is are no issues with replacement, I would definitely recommend Madison Seating based on customer service.

We have purchased all of the chairs for our office from Madison Seating and have been fully satisfied with their products, particularly with the price, making them a very economical choice. Like all online purchases things go wrong sometimes but they have been quick to settle the problem and send a replacement.

Their warranty is essentially worthless, and their chairs are shabby. Bought a Herman Miller Aeron from them, and now the chair is broken after two years of use. Their policy is that to use their warranty, you have to ship the whole chair not the part (so you won't be willing to do it), which costs 300 + easily, and they would charge another 95 for shipping back. Generally, it's not worth it to have it repaired, so they actually never need to repair/exchange. Sure, an authorized Herman Miller costs 1000+, but they have a real warranty and their chair is of high quality and won't break in two years As of July 11 2022, Madison seating has a 3.5 score which is very high compared to their reviews on other review sites, so I went through some reviews and found the reason. In case their chairs arrived broken, they actually will force you to do a 5-star review here to replace the chair for you, so if you read the reviews, you will find the same story; they leave 5-star reviews to get their broken chairs replaced. Yeah, so you will get a chair that might be broken immediately or broken in a year or two, and you need to spend 400-500 to use their warranty every time it has a problem.

Dear Customer, The Aeron chair you received 2 years ago from Madisonseating.com arrived in perfect working condition. The chair was purchased at $500+ and had a retail value of over $1000. If the chair broke while under your care, you will need to send it to our warranty department for either the repair or replacement of the item.
Chair arrived slightly damaged, but upon reaching out to Madison Seating they were receptive and offered a replacement at no cost to myself. They have so far stood by their product, which I appreciate

Terrible customer service. I reached out via email asking if I could change the size of the chair I purchased prior to shipping. They told me it was not in stock. I mentioned I saw it available on the website and they told me it was not available, then asked if I wanted to cancel. I replied, verbatim, "Understood. Before I cancel, are there any other Herman Miller chairs in stock in size C? Even if it's not this particular model?" They took that as me approving the cancellation. This was clearly an inquiry into the rest of their stock on Herman Miller chairs, not a confirmation of cancellation. They cancelled the order without my approval, then when I tried to place another order for the same product that they cancelled, they told me they would not sell to me unless I accepted a cancellation fee. Very poor customer service and even worse communication skills. Don't buy here if you have any other options Edit in regards to their response: "drove our customer service nuts...inundated their inbox within a few hours" Let's set the record straight Emails sent prior to them cancelling my order: 3 Emails received prior to them cancelling my order: 2 9:29am- "Hello, I'd like to change this order to a size C chair instead of a size B. Can I please make that change before the chair ships? I'm fine with you charging the card I used to place the order to make the adjustment. Please let me know if this is possible." MS Response 9:33am "Due to a supply chain issue, we are experiencing some delays on certain items. The size Aeron chair you selected is not currently available. Our last shipment of chairs that came in were all in the Size B only. There is no restock date yet for the Size C" 10:09am- "It's showing in stock on the website and I was able to put it in my card and go through checkout. Is there an error on the site? In the case that the site is incorrect, do you have any other Herman Miller chairs available in size C?" MS Response 10:25am: "The Size C is purchasable but not readily available. Please confirm you wish to cancel the current order placed for the Size B." 10:32am "Understood. Before I cancel, are there any other Herman Miller chairs in stock in size C? Even if it's not this particular model?" Cancellation auto email was received at 10:42am. Only reason I included "Before I cancel" is because MS asked me if I wanted to cancel. I never said I wanted to cancel the order. Here's the kicker! After writing this review, they sent me this lovely email: "We have rescinded our courtesy offer to waive the cancellation fee due to a recent escalation of this matter. We tried our best to close out this matter amicably and are sorry you felt the need to write an inaccurate portrayal of what transpired." This company is seriously the worst. Don't trust any of their replies to negative reviews and DO NOT SHOP HERE

This buyer incessantly called and emailed our customer service department many many times about his order. He purchased a particular size and model chair that was available, then asked to change it to another size. We told him the other size was not available and he went back and forth asking for sizes and models that were sold out. His last email to us before the order was canceled said this, ""Understood. Before I cancel, are there any other Herman Miller chairs in stock in size C? Even if it's not this particular model?" Reply As we do not have any Size C's in any other models available, the order was canceled." We have read our customer service responses and feel this was handled correctly. The customer was ambiguous and confusing. He inundated our emails within a period of a few hours with many many emails. We wish him well and hope he can make a firm decision on what he would like to purchase before placing his next order.
The chair didn't come with the excepted condition but Madisonseating offered sending a new one, this is a true customer oriented, I would definitely buy from them again and highly recommend buying from them.
