My experience with LottieFiles has been great so far! I had to make a change to my account settings and was a bit distraught about being able to get access back. Response time was quick and very effective. Meranelle helped me resolve my problem and answered all of my questions.

DO NOT USE FOR YOUR PROJECTS!!! i was using lottifiles for a long period of time in my small projects. like once in 3-4 month i was coming back for one ore two paid or if i would find free alternative i was grabing them. but now even for free animations you will have only 5 allowance for a whole life. Like now for me to download 1 free community animation that authors put there so everybody can use them freely everyone would be forced to buy at least 1 month subscription. Thats soo messed up in so many ways.

Lottie uses dark patterns to charge more. First you have to be brave enough to click on "cancel subscription" and confirm that you are willing to lose access to all your files to view a cheaper $9,99 option. After one billing cycle they charged the expensive $29,9 option again. Only after reaching out to their service team I received the info, that this offer only applies to one billing cycle. Also, their native masking effect did not work in a native Android application. I will cancel my subscription and close my workspace altogether since I am not willing to pay $360/year for this service.

I intended to subscribe on a monthly basis, but the company’s confusing and misleading interface caused me to accidentally purchase and pay for the full one-year subscription instead.

Just lower your prices, per year subscription should be optional as a bonus for heavy user. Not the norm, you are killing your own company. You have a nice concept but the pricing is not fair. If I want a set of animations they are standard, not custom made. You should pay 50$ (MAX). Get your pricing in order or die as a company.

DO NOT sign up or provide your personal details, they will not leave you alone. They won't leave us alone, 4 years later. Constant spammy messages asking us for payment, literally 3-4 a week. I vaguely remember using icon scout for 1 day in 2021, and decided it wasn't for us. As I've told them multiple times, we don't have or want the service. 4 years on they are still hounding us. I've now started marking these emails as spam, as that's what they are. This is the SAAS subscription that never ends.
