The UPS StoreReviews of locations.theupsstore.com

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a UPS Store at 15205 Collier Blvd Ste 106 in Naples 34119, FL. The clerk (Chris) was rude, unpleasant, unprofessional, and clearly seemed inexperienced. My package was 22 × 13 × 15 inches and 26 lbs. The clerk entered the dimensions incorrectly as 22 × 14 × 16, which increased the price by approximately $20. I immediately pointed out that the dimensions were wrong. Instead of calmly correcting the issue, he became nervous and then measured the package with a tape. One side measured 13 inches, but he then pointed to another area and insisted that it was “more than 13,” so he entered 14 inches. The same happened with another dimension. There was no clear or professional explanation for why these larger dimensions were being used. I understand that UPS has rules regarding package measurements, and I am perfectly willing to pay the correct price. What I will NOT accept is having questionable measurements entered, being charged significantly more, and then being treated disrespectfully when I ask a simple question. The attitude of the employee made an already frustrating situation even worse. If you are going to charge customers based on package dimensions, measure the package accurately and explain the charges professionally. I left feeling like I had no choice but to pay the higher amount. Very poor customer service. Management needs to train their employees on both proper package measurement and basic customer service. I will seriously consider taking my business elsewhere.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Hands down the WORST business in the Tri-State area. Had my son OVERNIGHT a package to me but THEY printed out the wrong label causing it to go to California instead of NC. Tried blaming me, i sent my son the wrong label; then tried my son but was able to prove them wrong since my son Only had the 1 Correct label. They portray they can't help or access any info & want you to call UPS customer service to fix their screw up; well CS gave them up said no they have access to the exact same system we use & there was no reason they couldn't have corrected their own mistake. Then act like he's doing me a favor by using what's called a package intercept: their own protocol to correct situations like the one they're good at causing. All signs pointed that it was going to be corrected but once Dave the actual store manager started ghosting me, refusing my calls when you could hear him tell the girl "I'm not here", has yet to call me back despite MANY times my wife & I called them I'm pretty sure the wrong package was intercepted deliberately. I hate to think that way but it's literally been 3 weeks since the intercept & over a month since i bought my label; No refund of ANY kind not the $83 for the label they never printed nor the $195 for the package itself. Go to Weirton Rental on Penn Ave. This is what i get for using the Steubenville UPS store: blamed, lied to, & ultimately: RIPPED OFF!!! Not even worth the 1 star! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

I handed the sales associate at the UPS Store at 3000 E Main St # B, Columbus, OH 43209 an invoice with the shipping address that needed to be inserted into the package I needed shipped (a watch). They wanted to package my watch themselves and I trusted them, and let them charge me extra to do so. I expected a shipping company would correctly transcribe an address from a printed corporate invoice. They reversed two numbers on the suite address when they shipped it and won't acknowledge their mistake. When I called the store to figure out why UPS was returning my package, the owner didn't even try to make things right but instead blamed me for agreeing the address was correct on a screen. The sales associate maintained the invoice with the address. Hard to double check when they had the address I brought in. Also, the owner claimed I could have entered my email address into the computer. Maybe there is some computer option but a sales associate should offer that to the customer. I was only asked for my phone number by the associate and not offered that email address option. The owner also said that I could have chosen to print the receipt to confirm the address and have a copy of the insurance verification. I was not given that option by the sales associate. Poor customer service in the initial shipping transaction then the owner blames the customer for their transcribing mistake. There are other locations in town to ship from and next time I will choose more wisely.

I have been using the UPS Store at 1517 N WIlmot in Tucson since 1998 when it was Mailboxes Etc. Eric and Michelle owned the franchise. The UPS Store franchise group told Eric and Michelle that they had to do a renovation that would cost in excess of 100,000 and that they would have to do it ahead of what was contracted. The franchise group shuttered their store with zero notice, zeroing out the business they'd spent 10 years building. I hope that the franchise group gets sued. I had 3 packages inbound and two of them have been returned to the senders. Many other small businesses have also been impacted. I had to make more than 10 emergency address changes and I don't know what mail I have that has gone missing.

am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience at this UPS Store and, equally concerning, with the response I received after contacting UPS Customer Service. I took the time to report what happened because I believed UPS would take a customer complaint seriously, investigate the situation, and hold the appropriate person accountable. Instead, I was told that the most that would potentially happen to the manager was “coaching.” That response is completely unacceptable to me. When a customer takes the time to contact Customer Service about the conduct of a manager, the complaint should not simply be brushed aside as something that can be handled with a conversation or coaching session. At a minimum, the situation should be properly investigated, documented, and addressed based on what actually occurred. What is especially frustrating is that I contacted Customer Service specifically because I expected someone outside the store to take an objective look at the situation. Instead, I left the conversation feeling as though my complaint had been minimized and that there was little meaningful accountability. UPS needs to understand that customers deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect. A manager represents the UPS Store and the UPS brand. When a customer has a serious complaint about how they were treated, it should matter. Customers should not have to wonder whether complaining will accomplish anything. I am publicly posting this review because my experience with Customer Service left me with no confidence that my complaint was being taken seriously. I want this matter brought to the attention of someone in higher management who is willing to actually review what happened, rather than simply telling me that the manager may receive “coaching.” I am asking UPS to review the original complaint, review how it was handled by Customer Service, and determine whether the response I received was appropriate. I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for accountability, professionalism, and respect. I hope someone with the authority to address this properly sees this review and takes the time to investigate what happened. Customers should not have to publicly complain before their concerns are taken seriously

STAY AWAY! I took a UPS envelope there, had a UPS employee print and affix a UPS label to the UPS envelope, paid UPS to ship it 2-day, got a UPS tracking number and a UPS receipt and to this day UPS says that they DO NOT HAVE THE PACKAGE. If you ship ANYTHING do not go to this store under ANY circumstances.

When the original owner and his daughters ran this location it was great. Now the grandkids are I knowledgeable, rude and disrespectful to lifelong customers. I will never do business with you.

VETERNS AND THOSE WHO SUPPORT VETERANS DO NOT GO HERE. This UPS Store refuses to provide any veteran discount or participate in Monroe County’s F.A.V.O.R. program, even though UPS, Inc. itself is known nationwide for strongly supporting veterans. It’s embarrassing that a privately owned franchise using the UPS logo would refuse to honor veterans while the corporation they represent goes above and beyond for military members. We’ve used multiple UPS Store franchises from New York to Florida to Nevada to California, and this is the only location that not only refuses to acknowledge veterans but actually gets nasty when you ask why they don’t offer any discount or recognition. They should be ashamed of themselves for treating veterans this way. Veterans deserve better — TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. This is not the first time!
