I ordered a special edition of hi fi rush. The initial order was lost, as a UK buyer using evri seems bad for specialized items. Put in an email to lrg and they sent a replacement pretty sharply. Good help on that front.

Update, Paid using PayPal, be fast when paying with it or PayPal will take your money but the website will not detect the payment as completed. PayPal will refund it fast (for me 15 minutes) and then you can do it again. For me that worked so I managed to pay using PayPal. Just be careful of PayPal fees and such. Ignore the political reviews as they are from right-wing crazies. I am unable to pay no matter what I try and what I do. Bank is not blocking anything and card is unlocked for internet and international purchases. Also have more then enough money to pay for it (accounting for 2x the worst exchange rate possible). Have not had any problems like this before when paying in USD or other currencies. Support keeps saying to try different cards and I have tried both of mine and my parters cards, none work. Both me and my partner are from Sweden and are using Swedish cards. Used different computers, different phones, on different networks, different browsers, have tried accounting for åäö, nothing works. They suggest trying PayPal but they take out an extreme fee and exchange rate compared to my bank. Don't get your hopes up when a limited edition will release here as you might not be able to pay without extreme fees and support seems unable to find out why payments keep declining. I have asked them to investigate why I was unable to pay as my bank have not blocked anything and I had more then enough money to pay.

I like physical copies of games but Limited Run always manages to disappoint me. Command & Conquer came without a physical game despite the illustration, the final disk was labeled "Assets Disk". I've been waiting almost two years for an order, and I've waited 8 months for another order with all available items. Which merchant needs 8 months to ship an order from its own warehouse? Edit: The list goes on, my most recent order was missing an item. Nevertheless, I decided to change my rating from 1 to 3 stars because customer support responded quickly and well twice. A subsequent delivery was arranged immediately and it arrived 3 weeks later. I had to pay customs fees, which is wrong, but I got them refunded immediately after contacting support.

Know that you will wait! I wish I had checked reviews before placing an order. Hopefully this helps people who have not yet made an order. I placed a pre-order way back in Feb 2021. When I reached out after a year of waiting I recieved a rude response and was told an update had just gone out, which came two days later and had untruthfuly stated that the item had begun shipping "in waves". Check the comments on any of their products and you will see unhappy customers in every single one. With no replies from the company. It's been almost two years now and I am growing more frustrated every day. Especially when I see them offering more and more pre-orders without fulfilling the ones already promised. If I was kept in the loop with what is happening and had a reasonable explanation there would be little problems other than a minor annoyance. Unfortunately I feel like the company is not being honest and doesn't care to inform their customers what is going on. Very disappointing. If you are thinking of purchasing from them, please do yourself a favor and know that it is very likely you will have to wait longer than expected. A side note they opened a physical store during this time and I can't help but think our pre orders funded this shop. UPDATE: Got my orders and they are awesome. Yes waited almost two years for one but I am happy with what I got. If this company would just communicate better I'm sure I don't just speak for myself when I say we would be chill. Anyway changing my rating now that I got my gear and love it.

This is a message to anyone else who is having issues with their orders, one of the Limited Run Games offices are in NC, I'm going to go there and get answers about why orders take so long.

My review is a little mixed but my main complaints are the difficulty in ordering limited items (they allow scalpers to use bots and snatch up all the sales) and horrible customer service that could care less about helping you and just ignore details when there's an issue and they will supposedly ban you from what I've heard over the most petty stuff so be weary when going against them in a dispute. Prices aren't horrible and I've never had an issue with shipping like many others claim to have had so no complaints there thankfully. Overall they are good for a buy or 2 every now and then to avoid scalper prices on certain games later on if you can get lucky enough to actually snag them first. If you decide to buy from them though pray you don't have any issues or you're experience will be terrible.

I do like that they provide physical copies for games that otherwise would not get a physical release. That being said, their estimated times are way off. I understand some of it is due to COVID but I see more and more games being posted up for pre-order when there are many that still need to be finished first. When I ordered things last year I was given the estimate of "2 to 4 months" once the pre-order window closed. In all cases this was an inaccurate estimate. Some things preordered from 3rd quarter last year I still have not received. In my experience it takes 6+ months to get your order. Once you do get your order it's nice stuff, but they need to do better at communicating what is going on with delays and e-mail out more frequent updates with games that are not yet done.

New year's day blowout sale... sold out before you can pay for the stuff in your basket. Why is that when the items are in your basket, they go out of stock before the papal payment can be completed?? I waited for the countdown added 3 games went to pay only to be sent back to limited run and told the games were out of stock?? This was very annoying and shouldn't happen as the items are in the basket and have sold from my basket?? Like getting the stuff taken out of your shopping basket by the person in front of you. Very bad experience for this sale. I have ordered before from this company and the items do arrive, and yes the item do take time but that is expected... But this BLOWOUT Sale was just poor and left angry and not wanting to bother with Limited Run in the future.
