Hi Diana! Thank you for the feedback and I sincerely apologize for any confusion. While the initial temporary card is good for 14 days, once you register with the state a new 42-day temporary card is issued. This new temporary card can be used while you're waiting for the physical card to arrive. Our escalation specialist will be reaching out to offer to walk you through the state registration process.
