Since the last update, the app has been performing terribly. The AI chat has started glitching, strange artifacts have appeared in the text, emojis have started showing up for some reason, and the quality of the transcriptions and summaries has deteriorated significantly.

I was an early adopter of Krisp starting in 2020 and genuinely loved the product. The noise cancellation worked well, and I recommended it to colleagues regularly. However, something changed after 2023. Krisp quietly stopped sending renewal notifications and receipts; they simply charge your card without warning. When I discovered an unexpected charge and contacted support within five days, they admitted to this practice but refused any refund. This is a textbook dark pattern: making it easy to sign up but deliberately obscuring when you’ll be charged again. A company confident in its product doesn’t need to hide renewal dates from customers. I deleted my account. The software may still work fine, but I can’t recommend a company that treats loyal customers this way. REPLY TO KRISP: In my original review, I noted I spoke to support already, and they confirmed the situation. Your support records will show this on 01/26/2026.

Losing a long-time supporter like you is something we take very seriously. You deserved clearer renewal communication, and the experience you've described isn't the standard we want to hold ourselves to. We'd really like the chance to look at your account and the charge in question. If you're open to it, please email us at [email protected] and our team will personally review the situation and see what can be done.
Historically I was a fan of Krisp and have reccomended it to lots of clients of mine. However, their support process is slow and cumbersome. 1 - It took them days to reply... I am a paying customer 2 - When they did reply, it forces you to go into the support center to see the reply. 3 - You have to create a separate account for their support centre. 4 - All of the emails they send from the support system go to spam..

It was good while it lasted. Now it is just an egregiously annoying app with useless enterprise oriented features. Oh well.

For what it is it's ok. I don't think its worth the money there better alternatives out there. My biggest problem is their auto renewal. I had got a yearly plan and wasn't even given a notification for the date of renewal. Not even a receipt after the fact. Seems like you hope your customer forget they have it. Can't even turn off the automatic payments without canceling.

Hi Ayden, Thanks for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear about the frustration with auto-renewal. We appreciate the feedback and understand how important it is to have full control over your subscription. We’ll take this into account as we continue improving our user experience. If there’s anything else we can assist with, feel free to let us know at [email protected]
Krisp, when it works, works as intended. However, the app is poorly written and the taskbar button will crash or not even react to right/left clicks. This is before any other apps are launched. You are better off using nvidia broadcast as an alternative as that program works, and works well in all my tests and gaming sessions. This app is FABOLOUS, when it works. Best thing ever! I work in a noisy building and it filtered all the noise. Loved it! However, the two times I have had some work done on my computer and reinstall the app (my PC is 1 year old), it goes crazy. If I have the app on, it doesn't allow me to select Krisp microphone and speaker... the options blink on and off and won't let me select any. If I am in a virtual meeting, my mic turns off every 3 seconds. If I am watching a video, the sound is intermittent. I have contacted Krisp support... no solution yet. So sad.

but the review keeps getting removed. I will try again and knock another star off it and see what happens this time. I see Krisp have replied after a few months. Here is a little of my previous March review which was removed. I'll not include much and see if I get away with my feedback: Bottom line, we removed this software as it was unreliable. Let's see if they remove my review again! Wonderful audio processing — too complicated to use It does a remarkable job of removing all sorts of background noises — it is truly magical.
