I have put one star but really it's 'no star' for KDP, (maybe you could do minus stars?) I was persuaded by well-meaning friends to give up looking for a publisher and use KDP, great, I published my book. From the start people had problems purchasing my book, now, although I am paying Amazon per click, when people try to buy they are told 'not available on this device' or simply 'not available' or a few other ways of saying not for sale. I have tried every means of getting through to them, but they either put the phone down as soon as you tell them the problem, terminate the chat or pass you over to someone else to do the same thing. I thought I might get somewhere this morning, 14th June 23. I had a booked phone call to someone, they reminded me about it a dozen times, I made the mistake of taking their offer to supply info about my problem. Of course, the phone call never came. What can I do? Can I complain to some Ombudsman? Can I take them to court? (after all, they are taking money for a service they are not providing), Who can I turn to. Please, if you know how to make them sort out their terrible website (that's another matter) or stop just not caring about their responsibility to their authors, please let me know. Rita Hill

They close my account without any reason 😡😡😡

Had my account for about 3 years and haven't made a dime!!!

From the beginning of Russia-Ukraine war, KDP keep stolen my money. I aa resident of UAE, but my account is on russian mobile number and I cant get OTP sms on this number. Support cant help me more than 1 year already. But my book "Launch an ICO. Successful Initial Coin Offering & Token Crowdsale" still sale, I see new good reviews there. So, Amazon KDP just stolen my money fo 16 month

Shady practices and deceptive customer service. I had my kdp account terminated with no explanation. When I reached out they refused to tell me the violation. Held all profits. I then contacted the BBB who reached out to amazon. They also refused to tell them and continued to hold my profits. Amazon stated I attempted to defraud their customers. They then purchased my books for my new printer on demand, Ingramspark, and have some listed for higher than I sell. They are cheats and robbers. Do not recommend

Stopped printing my author copies with KDP after they kept showing up wrong. Color off, 3 books in 1, white lines at bottom of the pages, black lines across the cover. They’d arrive just floating around a box. The quality is awful.
