Es horrible la cantidad de correos electrónicos fraudulentos que recibimos desde estos servidores. No controlan a sus propios clientes, y alojan una colmena de hackers.

Hi Chema, We're hoping you will respond to our private request for identifying information: the email connected to your account with us, a ticket number, or your account ID, so we can get to the bottom of your rather bizarre accusation. Team Kamatera
I had purchased some type of hosting with them 2 years ago and never actually cancelled the service, since my card was terminated by the bank anyway. But 2 years later, totally unaware of this, I was trying to purchase a VPS service with a new account; at first everything was fine, and I tried to link my card to billing. After a couple of tries, the account was suspended for some reason, and I was told to deposit $10 to unfreeze the account; after the deposit, the account was suspended again shortly after. Support said it was because I had unpaid debt in 2024 now asking me to pay another 25$ to reactivate the account. Customers don't have a responsibility to keep an eye out for overdue payments; it's Kamatera's fault for keep on providing the service after payments have failed. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Hi Chris, We appreciate you taking a moment to describe your experience. Please note that our Acceptable Usage Policy allows only one account per client, and you have an unpaid, outstanding debt on your original account from 2 years ago. Due to this, your new account was flagged and suspended for fraud. We will keep attempting to reach you via phone and email to discuss the matter privately and to come to a resolution together. Team Kamatera
After cancelling my subscription in which the VPS was completely deleted they still say its "Active" when I told them in a ticket that I cancelled it. They are still trying to withdraw 180 to this day. I would NOT recommend putting your card on there.

Hi Bradlee, We are hoping you will respond to our private request for more information so we can look into the matter for you and come to a proper resolution. Team Kamatera

Hi Sad, We'd genuinely like the opportunity to investigate and address whatever has happened. Unfortunately, without any identifying details, and based only on the very general description in your review, we're unable to verify what you're referring to or investigate your concerns. We hope you'll respond to our private request for more information, such as the email address associated with your account, a relevant support ticket number, or your account ID. You are also welcome to send an email to [email protected]. Team Kamatera
I initially loved it and gave it 5 stars. Then, literally just hours later—and only 3 or 4 days into my 30-day trial, right as I finished setting up the LAMP server and Virtualmin—they emailed me claiming "fraudulent activity." Look, I have been in business for 26 years and run multiple servers with Namecheap, HostGator, and IONOS. Yet, Kamatera demanded a deposit because they are apparently broke. If they couldn't even let me try the service for one full week without acting shady, they aren't getting a dime from me. How is setting up LAMP and Virtualmin from my Samsung Laptop Fraud? It cannot be our money, Namecheap LOVED our money. I instantly changed the nameservers back to my big Namecheap VPS (which is half the price!). LOL. You needed me; I did not need you. #DisrespectIsNotTolerated #BadCustomerService #YourLoss #IdontPLAYgames #DesperateBrokeCompany

Hi Jeff, We completely understand why getting hit with a sudden account flag right after you finished setting up your environment felt incredibly disruptive and came off the wrong way. We want to clear the air entirely: your build environment was absolutely not the problem. We love seeing developers deploy those exact web stacks on our infrastructure. What actually happened behind the scenes comes down to an automated platform security guardrail. Our records show that you originally signed up for our platform a couple of years ago, and the account remained completely dormant until now. When a long-inactive account suddenly spins up new infrastructure, our automated system flags it as unusual behavior to protect our network from potential platform abuse. To verify the account, the system requests a temporary $10 deposit. This does not nullify your $100 free trial. It is simply a standard verification check to ensure a live user is behind the keyboard. If you complete your 30-day trial and decide Kamatera isn't the right fit for you, that deposit is fully refunded to you. There are absolutely no shady strings attached, but we completely realize how a robotic notification can ruin a first impression for a seasoned business owner! We know you don't need us, but we would still love the chance to manually clear your account so you can experience our enterprise-grade hardware completely risk-free. If you are open to giving us another look, please reach out directly to [email protected] with a reference to this review, and our team will personally ensure your trial is restored. Wishing you and your business continued success back at Namecheap or wherever you choose to host, Team Kamatera
I have to concur with the report from The Good Nerd. This ISP continually funnel spam from the same source (usually fake 'Costo' emails with forged onmicrosoft headers). I have reported the spam dozens of times to support at kamatera.com, but I have never received any response. Kamatera continue to inundate me with junk from these spammers. Now my emails to support at kamatera.com are bouncing, so it appears they have decided to block me rather than respond or take any action against the spammers that pay them.

Hi P.KZ, We categorically reject the claims made by TheGoodNerd, and we believe their review reflects a misunderstanding of how abuse is handled at scale by cloud providers. We remain committed to maintaining a secure and reliable infrastructure and encourage all abuse reports to be submitted through the appropriate, verifiable channels so they can be properly investigated. Team Kamatera
This company feels like a scam. We added credits to our account based on their advice. After a couple of days, the system asked us to add more credits, so we added another $50. However, after only two days, it asked us to add credits again. I emailed their billing team several times to ask for clarification, but they did not properly explain what happened and ignored my questions. Now, I just received an email from them saying they tried to contact me multiple times, which is not true. Because of that, they terminated our account. This has been a very frustrating experience, and I feel like they did not handle the billing issue properly or communicate honestly.
