How can a company making premium customer appliances NOT stock spare parts for them? Specifically, for a "Pro Kitchen Hood" (JXT9048CDP) no light socket nor bulbs are available anymore. Do they seriously want customers to replace such things every 15 years, because the lightbulbs burned off???

Don’t ever buy Jenn Air. You’re just paying for the name. The oven temperature has never worked right despite several adjustments. The cook top burners are awful. The flame all of a sudden adjusts itself and becomes larger causing food to burn. The knobs are also very finicky. If you just stand close to them, the flame changes to higher. I Put in a service call to get my cook top fixed. Got a confirmation email that service person would come 3/13/2023 between 8am and 4pm. No one showed up. Called Jenn Air this morning and was advised that service date had been changed to 3/15/23. I never got a call or an email to advise me of the the change. Very POOR service. Thoroughly disappointed. I previously had Kitchen Aid appliances and had the same issues. I thought upgrading to Jenn Air would be better but no such luck .

BOUGHT A HIGH END JENNAIR WALL OVEN/MICROWAVE COMBO, REFRIGERATOR, AND RANGE IN 2018 WORKED WELL UNTIL LAST FALL 2022 WHEN BOTH THE REFRIGERATOR WHICH ALSO WAS JENNAIR BROKE BUT LUCKILY MY APPLIANCE MAN DID FIX BUT HAD TO DO IT ON THE PHONE WITH A JENNAIR TECHNICIAN. HOWEVER THE WALL OVEN/COMBO TOUCH PANEL WENT. IT HAD TO BE ORDERED WELL WE ARE STILL WAITING! WE ARE GETTING THE SAME RUN AROUND LIKE EVERYONE ELSE ON HERE FROM THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT! THEY CAN'T FIND THE PART THEN THEY HAVE THE PART BUT DO NOT HAVE SOMEONE TO PUT THE PIECES TOGETHER! WHAT KIND OF COMPANY IS THIS? THEY TOLD US AS WELL ABOUT RESOLUTION WHICH IS NOT GIVING YOU FULL PRICE FOR THE APPLIANCE AND THEN ON TOP OF THAT YOU HAVE TO DESTROY THE OLD UNIT AND SIGN A WAIVER!!!! THEY KEEP SAYING CALL BACK IN 21 DAYS WELL WE HAVE BEEN DOING THIS SINCE SEPT. 22 AND IT STILL IS NOT RESOLVED AND I HAVE BEEN OUT THE UNIT FOR ALL THE HOLIDAYS! HAS ANYONE ON HERE WHO HAVE HAD SUCH A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THOUGHT ABOUT DOING A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT???? I THINK IT IS ABOUT TIME THAT WE DO. ALSO THEY KEEP SENDING ME A NOTICE TELLING ME TO RENEW MY CONTRACT WARRANTY WHICH IS A COSTLY 500$ FOR 5 YEARS OR 300 OR SO FOR THREE YEARS. WHY DO THAT WHEN THEY HAVEN'T EVEN LIVED UP TO MY PREVIOUS EXTENDED WARRANTY! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCTS!

I spent $3700 on a Jenn-Air down draft oven to replace the Jenn-Air that was too old to be fixed. Self cleaning, HA!!! I had a meat loaf that decided to belch in the oven..... I tried using the "Cleaning" cycle the next day, tried using it twice, what a joke!!! I had to breakout the good ole reliable Easy Off to get the oven clean!!!! And yes it left a residue on my oven walls and the bottom. Whomever at Jenn-Air thought it would be a GREAT idea to do away with the previous self-cleaning mode should be fired!!! At least then you could leave your racks in and the oven got so hot that it turned the mess to ashes!!! Yes it took a few hours but it was an easy cleanup!!! I spent more time cleaning this oven then I did on the old fashioned ovens that were NOT self-cleaning. Needless to say I am very disappointed in the quality of Jenn-Air these days and will never recommend anyone getting a oven from them!

Bought a high-end Jenn-Air Rise stove as I had a great experience with an older Jenn Air appliance. The quality on this stove is inferior! The knobs look sturdy but the knob interior is plastic. The heat from the stove invariably causes the plastic to expand and then break. This has happened on all of my knobs and now I am being told by the vendor that they have to get "special approval" from Jenn Air to replace the knobs. I haven't used this stove for even a year after waiting a year to receive it. Do not buy this product. The quality has gone way down.

We bought a home built in 2017 with Jenn Air appliances already installed. The home was first sold 2018, and we moved in 2021. The microwave was not working when before we even moved in. After looking at some reviews it seems to be software issues. The dishwasher sliding rack has already broke. We don't use the dishwasher as much, but that seems to be a problem with their dishwashers. I have the choice to repair for $400, but I think I will purchase a new one and a different brand.

Beware of incorrect installation specs in your manual when building your kitchen around these appliances. Purchased Jenn-Air EVERYTHING because that's what Best Buy sold me on... Our cabinet makers used their manual guide posted on their website to build the built-in cabinet... Jenn-Air is SO negligent that their manual has the wrong information posted so the fridge will stick out rather than being flush. Customer service emailed me a document with the correct information and told me the fridge will still work. Of course it will work, but I didn't spend 12k on a fridge and 50k on a custom kitchen to have a built in fridge that sticks out. The manual has the wrong information - if this is just the beginning of my experience with Jenn-Air, I'm ready to send EVERYTHING back to Best Buy. The customer service rep is escalating my issue - will see what happens. If you have purchased a built-in, do not go by what the manual says, the depth MUST be 25"

Buyer beware Jenn Air is not standing behind their appliances I am having a software issue with my microwave oven wall unit that many others are also having The new part is over 1,000 dollar plus labor and if you are not w/i the 2 yr warranty period they will not cover it It is a faulty software system that many other Jenn Air customers are experiencing and they are not standing behind their appliances! If you want to spend more for a Jenn Air because you feel you are getting a high end appliance beware You are not and they will not stand behind their faulty system!
