I've been through hell trying to get my warranty for this product. Well over two months ago and nothing. DON'T BUY ANY PRODUCTS FROM NEWELL/RUBBERMAID if you expect them to honor any problems. LIARS FRAUD... NO LIFETIME WARRANTY as PROMISED. Junk that they know breaks easily and they know that no one will go through crazy nonsense to get a warranty claim. Fraud. LIARS

I've had my Crystal glass kettle for… I've had my Crystal glass kettle for just over a year. I sent an email to explain that the upper plastic part of the kettle was disintegrating or melting and pieces were falling off into the water. After sending THREE emails I finally heard back from 'customer service' - about a week later. I was asked to provide yet more details. I was then told the product was out of warranty and offered 20% off a new kettle. Considering the dangers of melting plastic pieces dropping in the water I was horrified!
