I would have liked a little more insight into my abnormal lab value. seeing your doctor is important but in the mean time, I would have liked some suggestions or something more of value pertaining to that lab.

I think overall my experience with InsideTracker has been great over the past six or seven years. They used to offer having a discussion with a medical person if you had questions about the results to clarify what they meant overall but as far as I know they no longer do that. It's the only reason I give it four stars. The results are pretty straightforward to read and I do like that they are getting more into gender specific test markers. I'm not a huge fan of the age definer or whatever they call it based off of tests as I think, especially with women, the markers they give credence to (DHEAs specifically) is so individual that the metric equation to derive that number can't be accurate across the entire female population. (It also could be that I don't like that it tells me I'm 10 years older than I actually am because I have chronically low DHEAs and there's not a 'legal' way to supplement it, so I might be bitter).

InsideTracker was SO worth it. I used the service for a few years and got a lot of benefit from it. I used the Ultimate Test and Inner Age regularly. It is much more than just the regular tests I would get from my doctor, especially the unique science-backed interpretations of multiple tests around key functions like inflammation, etc. I was so grateful to learn I was overdosing on vitamins B12 and was able to track my progress to stabilize it. The optimization suggestions really worked for me and the app really helped keep me accountable/reminded me! The little cons were in the testing logistics. I used it mostly in Canada with the mobile blood draw which was SUPER convenient, but once the samples didn’t make it in time for all the tests. Luckily they easily rectified with a repeat draw at no cost. Also sometimes (though rarely) when looking for a draw in the US, some Quest Diagnostic labs would not do the tests, despite calling beforehand. Ultimately I would highly recommend regular InsideTracker testing. The $$ is worth a greater healthspan in the long run!

Really like the array of blood tests they do and that the results are given in the range for everything from low/high, through "normal" or "optimal". Easy hints or tips as to how to improve your scores. Blood tests are 5*! Also important to remember everyone is different, so optimal is based on population data but each individual varies. For the InnerAge test, I thought they would test other parameters (like glycans) rather than just pulling on the results from the blood analysis (I should've looked into it in more detail), but it still gives an overall picture. This part I give 3.5*.

The data has been great to have but I struggled a little with the testing instructions…specifically because the site was unfamiliar with this service and had a hard time coding the tests properly in the system. It will be easier the second time around!

A better and quick blood draw team and more understanding and cooperative, polite customer service. it's very expensive

For the past two years, the inside tracker has been a part of my life. I have had a very positive experience with the application and process for obtaining blood work. They tailor their recommendations based on the results of your DNA test and blood test. I've had a few bad results from Quest for my draws in the past. I have contacted Inside Tracker and requested that a particular blood test be re-done. Inside tracker followed up with Quest and the test was rerun and the results were corrected. To inside tracker, I recommended that someone examine the history to determine whether something doesn't look right. They look at the results, but not the history of past exams. I'm looking forward to inside tracker adding additional blood test that are available that are not yet part of the ultimate package.

Really like the data that is generated and that an action plan along with an explanation is offered for each result. However, some refinements need to be made to the app and customer service needs to be responsive. However, it is clear that InsideTracker is adding new biomarkers and testing options. I will continue to use InsideTracker now and in the future because it provides valuable information about how to improve my health to avoid or mitigate future problems.
