Pricing and False Personalization Claims Rating: ★★☆☆☆ I recently had the opportunity to try InsideTracker, and unfortunately, my experience left me disappointed with both the pricing structure and the product's claims of personalized recommendations. While the concept of personalized health and wellness tracking intrigued me, I found the execution lacking in several key areas. First and foremost, the pricing of InsideTracker's products is quite steep. The initial investment required to access their services left me with high expectations. However, I soon realized that the pricing did not match the value provided. The cost outweighed the benefits, especially considering the alternative options available in the market. Additionally, the advertised personalization aspect turned out to be misleading. InsideTracker claims to offer tailored recommendations based on individual health profiles and biomarker results. However, the recommendations provided felt generic and lacked the depth I expected. Instead of receiving specific guidance for my unique needs, I received generic advice that could have been easily obtained elsewhere. This lack of true personalization left me questioning the validity of their claims. Furthermore, I found the user interface of the InsideTracker platform to be cumbersome and not user-friendly. Navigating through the website and accessing information was often confusing, and the overall user experience fell short of my expectations. This added frustration to an already underwhelming experience. Considering the high price point and the false advertising surrounding personalization, I am left feeling disappointed with my InsideTracker experience. While the concept has potential, the execution and value provided did not meet my expectations. I would recommend exploring other options that offer greater affordability, genuine personalization, and a more user-friendly platform.

I heard about InsideTracker from several podcasts and then watched a promotional 3rd party review on a video. From the video, it appeared there was a live interaction with someone over Zoom. But, after doing the blood test and purchasing the “ultimate plan”, I later learned that a “live discussion” was not part of the deal. Instead I get an online lab report with some tips. With zero “live interaction,” I now see why there is some concern about the pricing for for this service. It feels more like an automated “AI tool” rather than a human interaction. Kind of reminds me of the movie idiocracy in which humans interact with recorded videos and such to get medical health guidance:) Here is my shark tank response: This is a great space and InsideTracker’s marketing is superb, but the pricing model is excessive for a start up given the generic and canned tips provided in your app like “eat nuts” or “get exercise”. While I think you will gain some initial market share, you will not be able to retain customers at these prices. For that reason I am out.

I was really excited about InsideTracker and gaining some great insights. I have to say I’m pretty disappointed. The process just to get test results was painful and long. They only use Quest for testing, so if you don’t have that in your area you’ll have to use mobile blood draw. It took almost one month from the date I ordered my test to the time my blood draw was completed. Then another two weeks for results to be posted. Six weeks is just way too long. Once I had results, it was a little underwhelming. First, I chose the more expensive Ultimate Plan to ensure I had testosterone testing included. When my results were posted, however, this wasn’t included because of “instability” of my sample. Maybe that’s because they took way too long to analyze it? The balance of the results were fine, but didn’t provide any deep insights in my opinion. I guess my expectations were out of whack — it is, after all, just a blood test. Final comment is on customer service. Response times are ridiculously long. I finally did receive a partial refund for my lack of T results. The rep was civil, not at all apologetic, and really didn’t seem to care. So all in all, I don’t think this is a good use of money and I won’t be ordering additional tests.

I was really excited about this service. I paid $600-700 for a test but no results have been provided to me. I've contacted customer service 10 times now with no success, both via phone and email. I've been told that the results are at Quest and haven't been uploaded into Inside Tracker but InsideTracker hasn't been able to address this issue for almost 6 weeks now. Updated- InsideTracker elevated my service requests and immediately fixed the problem. The initial blood test had been destroyed by quest with no results. A new test was ordered after customer service elevated my service request and the results came back within 5 business days. The actual test results are awesome.

It’s not very helpful or personalized. It’s not interesting enough to log in daily or interact with. It’s way too overpriced for an app that is not giving me daily value.

1. Exact same canned "high volume of email" as people who were reviewing months ago. I have tried the chat function, the leave-a-message-and-we'll-email chat function, the email option, and I'm about to go to the EECB option. 2. I bought the option to upload your own results, so I had my tests performed locally and uploaded them. After twelve days, still nothing. So I was given the excellent option of entering ALL the biomarkers myself. By hand. A service I had paid for. With no discount or apology or anything--they acted like it was a great bonus feature. 3. After a few weeks, it's still not syncing with my wearable, which is one of the features I bought this plan for versus other companies. I've done all the steps they've recommended and nothing. Can't get a response to this question either. 4. And the app is now showing that I'm missing other biomarkers, but won't even "let" me enter them manually. 5. Finally, just like a previous reviewer, I'm getting spammed in the meantime for offer after discount after special alert about ANOTHER blood test/package. You haven't even handled the *easiest* one right! Why would I buy more at this point?!

Having come to Inside Tracker based on the praise from geneticist David Sinclair, I am disappointed with Inside tracker's service. The results are really useful but are very slow to be published (over two weeks) and the customer service is virtually non existent. What I find frustrating is that since joining them, I have received numerous email offers of discounts for all their services. Surely it would be better to give a good service to the customers they have, rather than continually reducing their charges to attract more?
