I signed up for the at-home blood draw. They missed the first scheduled appointment and didn't return any of my messages until several hours after the scheduled time. This meant I had to fast twice. When my blood was finally drawn a week later, about a third of the tests came back with no reading. I was offered to have a third blood draw free of charge or a discount for a future package, so I just took a discount for the future. I'm happy with the results in the app, but it was a frustrating process.

The blood analyses and biomarkers are excellent; as well as the descriptions of the biomarkers and what they mean for overall health are excellent. But I believe the Action Plan(s) for addressing suboptimal biomarkers is really lacking right now. There needs to be a more comprehensive review of an individual's results and a custom plan to address that person's blood results. The current Action Plan(s) are very generic.

The service might be fine, but I never got that far. I asked a question in chat and the person hastily lied. When I tried to clarify, he avoided the question. Annoyed, I contacted customer service via email, and they sent my "complaint" to the guy on chat who, having my email address, chose to attack me for complaining. I never heard from customer support. I left a phone message via voice mail, and after a day, still haven't received a call. If there are no problems, might be a great service -- but if there is a problem, customer support is unresponsive if not hostile.

I did this hoping to find out what is causing inflammation in my body... my results showed high levels of inflammation but did not reveal anything about why its happening or what to do about it... waste of money in my case

I ordered the most basic InsideTracker product with the mobile blood draw because I work from home. However, when I went to schedule, it was an endless back-and-forth - there was no availability for mobile phlebotomists at all, and scheduling is tough because you're talking to someone who works for ExamOne (Quest Diagnostics) who is sort of a middleman and not really connected to a specific lab or to InsideTracker. Finally I gave up and scheduled my blood draw at a physical location even though I had paid extra for the mobile draw. The location was weird, not a lab but a semi-abandoned looking building with one person working in it. Luckily she was great and the blood draw was an easy process. I did get my results quickly, but didn't find them much more illuminating than a blood panel from my PCP that's covered by my insurance. Not the best experience and probably not something I would pay for again, unless the process was way, way more streamlined and simple.

The process of purchasing and getting my lab work done was straightforward and it was a pretty comprehensive set of markers. That said, if you can get lab work done through your doctor with insurance, I would just do that. The information Inside Tracker gives you beyond the basic lab results isn’t really worth the hundreds of dollars and the suggestions for actions steps/goals feel a bit silly and generic (spend time outside, eat a serving of nuts, move your body)—ultimately not that different from basic general health advice. Additionally, there is no way to indicate aspects of gender experience that are outside a cisgender norm (eg being assigned female at birth but taking testosterone), so if you’re transgender and especially if you’re nonbinary, a whole subset of the conclusions drawn about the status of your health are useless. To be fair, they have some sort of disclaimer about their inability to address such variations, but disclaimer or not, the ultimate result is that it’s not worth the money (although I wouldn’t feel like it was worth the money even if there wasn’t the particular trans piece).

There are biomarkers that are negativity and significantly contributing to my innerage, but it still says they are optimal, and it doesn't provide advice on how to improve them. It does provide good insight and advice on some biomarkers, but not the most important ones.

I was drawn to your service by an Andrew Huberman Video and I think the concept is excellent but fell short on two specific areas. 1. The panels did not include Estrogen (estradoil). I rewatched the Huberman video and he said that your estradoil reading is more important than the general testosterone, but second in importance to free testosterone. 2. It did not include a PSA reading, PSA equals early detection of prostate cancer and is EXTREMELY important to men, especially if they are over the age of 50.
