My IG counselors were awesome! Couldn’t have gotten into my dream school early without them. I joined IG in late 11th grade, and my counselors were able to take what scraps I had when I first joined and guide me into creating a proper, packaged profile. What they helped most in were my essays. Although I consider myself a good writer given my humanities background, it takes me time—a lot of time—to get my work to a place I’d consider good, especially so when the writing in question is introspective. My counselors were extremely helpful in speeding up the process, working with me to really dissect my life and dig up the interesting, worthy parts to be written into essays. And throughout my drafting rounds, my counselors tore up and stitched together my essays over and over, catching unsavory details to cut and identifying promising leads to expand on. I also felt fully supported every step of the way. Would totally recommend!

Throughout the college application process, I've realized that writing for college applications is a very unique skill that only people near the college application process will truly understand. With a combination of people who used to be the ones reading the applications alongside people who have great experience in creating these essays, InGenius helped me a ton throughout the process.

I loved how patient and kind the guidance team is, they are very understanding even when problems occur. The individuals are also very positive and genuinely care about getting you into the best college possible. I was able to get into one of my top choices even with a basically empty awards section and an ok GPA. I honestly would not have made it without them.

My counselor was very helpful throughout my college application process. She suggested thoughtful ideas for my essays, but ultimately allowed me to write about what I was most passionate about, making the process feel personal. We worked through multiple rounds of edits, and her feedback was very detailed. In addition to her help with my essays, she was also very flexible with scheduling and helped polish other parts of my application. A few weeks ago I was accepted into my ED so all the edits were worth it!

Professionals do professional things. They gave me an accurate positioning and made all future plans very early, which made my application very smooth and successful. I would also like to thank my teaching assistant for his supervision and guidance.

Our son's advisor was fantastic and added a lot of value. He provided high-level guidance and mentorship which really helped him think through the application and write his essays. They also helped with strategy. The whole process was very well designed and professionally delivered. I was really impressed with the commitment of their team.
