I was recommended by a Business Consultant to begin my funding journey with Kevin Araujo, who came highly recommended. Unfortunately, the experience quickly became a nightmare. Instead of working with me directly, Kevin referred me to Steven Chen. I was initially told Steven was a manager of the operation, but I later learned that Steven worked for Kevin. From the beginning, the objective was to obtain $150,000 in funding, use part of it to clear personal debt, and use the remaining funds for my new business. That plan changed when Steven recommended that I take out a $35,000 personal loan to reduce existing debt before approaching banks for additional funding. Before agreeing, I specifically asked Steven whether adding another $35,000 in debt was a good idea because it would put me deeper into debt. Steven told me he was confident he could obtain enough additional funding to pay off the $35,000 loan. He also said he had used this strategy with other Impruvu clients and had seen positive results, so I trusted his recommendation. Unfortunately, we never reached the funding goal. I was told that banking regulations were changing, and Steven later discovered there were banks where funding could be obtained without opening a bank account. This caused me to lose confidence in the process because I felt an experienced funding consultant should have known about those options from the beginning. I was ultimately left with the $35,000 personal loan, while the funding goal was never reached despite being told they could potentially obtain as much as $250,000 in funding. Seven credit inquiries also remained on my report, which Steven apparently was not aware of until applications began getting declined. At the beginning of the relationship, Kevin Araujo also told me that the $500 I paid would be credited back to me at the end of the funding process. Instead, the $500 was credited toward their invoice and was never returned directly to me as I understood it would be. When I could not reach Steven, Kevin contacted me and accused me of being unprofessional, saying, “Steven is trying to help you.” I asked Kevin whether Steven had shown him what had happened with my consulting profile. After I explained the situation, Kevin acknowledged there were problems with how my profile had been handled, apologized, and asked me to provide information so he could “coach” Steven. I did not feel that was an adequate resolution, especially because I originally expected Kevin to work on my file. On February 25, 2026, CEO Damon Aleczander contacted me regarding the situation and said he wanted to see whether we could reach a resolution. Kevin then took over and told me that “he’s the resolution,” but no resolution was completed. I wrote Damon approximately six times and requested a partial credit based on what occurred. Damon did not respond, while Kevin continued asking to schedule a time to speak. On July 7, 2026, after numerous emails, Damon finally responded. During our private conversation, I was offered a refund. I agreed to the refund and even contacted Kevin asking him to follow up with Damon, but I still did not receive the refund or a clear answer. This is what created even more doubt for me. If the company acknowledged that mistakes were made with my account and offered a refund as a resolution, I do not understand why that refund has still not been provided. Based on my experience, once their 10% fee was collected, I felt I was left dealing with the problems that resulted from the process. Meanwhile, client funding successes continued to be promoted online. I do not believe adequate accountability was taken for the mistakes made with my file. I eventually had to pay another company $249 to clear inquiries and help correct my credit profile. I have receipts and video documentation related to the credit-report issues I experienced. Communication was also extremely difficult at times. Calls came through virtual numbers, and I experienced calls that appeared to come from numbers other than the person I was speaking with. Damon, I have patiently waited for you or your representatives to contact me regarding the refund that was offered and that I accepted. Since I have still not received the refund or a satisfactory response, I believe it is appropriate to publicly share my experience so other consumers can make an informed decision. I also have concerns about the visibility of reviews and comments online. Rather than speculate about why certain comments may not appear, I can only state what I personally experienced and document. At this point, actions speak louder than words. I agreed to the resolution that was offered, yet I am still waiting for the refund. I hope sharing my experience helps someone else make a more informed decision.

Complete waste of money. Also they will promise you a refund with no hassle and lie right to you an try convincing you to delete your review because the service is poor “ Option 2: If you feel like the trust is broken and you would rather part ways, I will issue you a refund. No back and forth, no hassle. Either way, I want you to have the full picture of what happened and why. Your scores did not drop because we failed to do the work. They dropped because new negatives hit your file while we were working. That said, we should have communicated that to you clearly and we didn't. That part is on us. I will post this message as a response on your public review as well, since the claim you made is factually wrong. Let me know which direction you want to go and I will make it That was a lie I never was refunded anything but given the option.

Final update This company failed to deliver what was stated regarding inquiry removals, and the way the CEO handled the situation was unprofessional, inconsistent, and frankly concerning. Here is my experience: 1. Serious mistake by their representative The representative assigned to my file Aaron Pinto: • appeared distracted on multiple calls (baby on camera, stepping away, taking personal calls), • gave conflicting information from one meeting to the next, • guided me to apply for a loan before confirming whether I actually qualified, • which resulted in a hard inquiry and a denial that should never have happened. He acknowledged the error and assured me that my inquiry would be removed once I crossed the $50K funding threshold which I did. The inquiry removal never began/ completed. 2. No follow-up from management I informed Aaron I no longer wanted to work with him, and he said he would notify management. He also provided the wrong email address for management, and no one ever followed up. After some time of silence, I posted an honest review. 3. CEO reached out then shifted tone, story, and terms repeatedly The CEO only contacted me after the review and immediately implied the situation was somehow my fault without first fact-checking anything. He initiated an offer of a partial refund and an inquiry sweep. I agreed and was appreciative. I thought we had turned the page… But when I asked for clarification (because it changed), his tone shifted quickly. His messages became: • condescending, • passive-aggressive, • inconsistent, • and at times intimidating. He brought up an unrelated upcoming invoice; as if to imply a threat, even though I’ve always paid all invoices on time ($5,400 lump sum was paid with no issues). I paid the last $1100 invoice immediately, even though it wasn’t due for two more days, because the tone of the message felt intentionally sharp. There was no need to even mention an invoice in our conversations. More bullying tactics. He then mentioned a cease-and-desist agreement, even though I had already agreed to remove my review in good faith. His offer became contingent upon my compliance, and the terms were changing. He also referenced “legal review,” brought up credit reporting out of nowhere, rewrote the timeline, and then disappeared for four days after saying he would “talk soon.” 4. I stopped communicating because the environment increasingly became unprofessional I disengaged after days of silence and repeated condescending responses not because I rejected a resolution. Now, he is framing it as though I “walked away,” which is false. Continuously going back n forth in email with a customer is ridiculous, especially over an offer HE offered. 5. Petty, unprofessional remarks In one email, the CEO attempted to belittle me by saying that me using an em dash meant I “copied and pasted from ChatGPT.” This comment was: • petty, • irrelevant, • unprofessional, and perfectly reflected the dismissive tone he consistently used instead of taking accountability. 6. Concern about handling of personal data Given the lack of professionalism throughout this process, I now have serious concerns about my information — including my SSN and credit data — is being managed. Bottom Line No customer should be treated this way, especially after an internal mistake and a customer that tried to resolve at the lowest level possible. even at one point I was trying to close the chapter but was re-engaged with an offer by the CEO that apppeared to have no intentions on following through on. I’m sharing my experience so others can proceed with caution. If your situation isn’t a “perfect success story,” you may be met with the same dismissive and condescending treatment I received.

I would give 0 stars if possible. My wife credit score was a 800 and we got one type of funding with their help. But got an invoice for $3200. They repeatedly want you to lie and call the bureau (experian)and say you didn’t make that inquire. They give you a script to lie to the banks about. They want you to apply and lie and then lie some more to banks and other lenders. Then they tell you once you get the business credit cards they can turn it cash. By running the cards and wiring it back to you minus their fee of course. What they want you to do is illegal it’s money laundering by running the cards and fraud lying to the banks. We have notified the proper authorities and retained legal representation. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE

company is terrible they make you write a review before even funding and now my credit is worse then when i joined so far 5000 in to ruin my credit i do not recommend this company these reviews are bought

I was hoping to be writing a 5 star review right now but am not. I was contacted by Damon about a product they offered, HEI or home equity investment, about a month ago. He introduced me to Max and we got started. Made it through the application and got the appraisal done but then Max went silent. After a week of trying to contact him I finally reached back out to Damon just for him to tell me that Max wasn't talking to anyone anymore and that my offer was dead. Also that they had no other products available for me to try to acquire. So, all I have to say I guess is, don't trust them in what they tell you because it might not be real to begin with.

Worked with Abhee. My business has been in business for 10yrs, has a gross income of ~600k, have a personal score of 800+. Was only able to get $10,000 credit line from Chase. Impruvu's reasoning is my type of business (consulting) could've been a factor. They're methods of getting a credit line from banks are very generic.Save your money and do it yourself. I don't recommend this company .

So, far this company turned out to not being the best choice! I do not recommend this company! All they do is lie to you! I will no longer do any business with this company!
