I have received the new updated body for the ImpelPro and it works so much better. Now with this addition we can utilise the unit for smaller impellers as well. It’s a fantastic upgrade.

Thanks John! Happy to hear that the upgraded body is working better for you!
Bought the impeller puller as nothing else I have used seemed to be working well. The ImpelPro worked excellent for my main engines (Detroits with JABSCO pumps), which is a challenging location unless I dissemble my coolant system. About a year into owning it they even sent me an upgraded component (the teeth) for free. Hard to find that service anywhere these days. It works even better now - instant grip that doesn’t slip at all. The harder you pull the more it grips. Highly recommend!

Thank you, Scott! I'm glad to hear ImpelPro worked in your challenging location. We sometimes scratch our heads where they put the pumps on engines. We appreciate your nod to the new teeth on the arms. This feedback keeps us going. Thank you.
Works perfectly. As advertised. Highly recommend this tool if you work on your own boat. Customer service is almost as good if not better.

On my Cummins 8.3L the computer module is directly in front of the impeller housing. Using the tool is difficult at best.

Response from Impelpro· Jun 10, 2025
Dear Agostino, Thanks for the honest feedback. That Cummins 8.3L setup is no joke—when the computer module is sitting right in front of the impeller housing, it turns a simple job into a serious puzzle. We know it wasn’t easy, but we’re glad the ImpelPro still managed to get in there and pull the impeller. It’s sound like one of the tightest engine configurations we’ve seen, and most tools on the market wouldn’t have even had a shot. We’re always working on ways to make tough jobs like this easier. If you ever want to share photos or talk through ideas, we’re all ears. —The ImpelPro Team Built by a mechanic. Built to work—even when the engine tries to fight back.
The new and creative design and function of the impeller puller in phenomenal! They "built a new mouse trap!" With the use of a bearing, it almost makes pulling my impeller tool-less.

That's the goal: no stress, no busted knuckles, no makeshift tools—just a smooth, smart pull every time. Thanks for recognizing the innovation. We're proud to lead the charge in making impeller maintenance finally make sense. —The ImpelPro Team Built by a mechanic. Built to work.
