About The High Performance Health Program - By Andrew Marsham
I'm Andrew Marsham, the founder of High Performance Health. I started my own fitness journey in 2011. I weighed 120lbs and had a sagging belly. I was “skinny fat”. I made my own radical transformation and became obsessed with health, nutrition and longevity. I struggled for years on my own trying to figure things out. Making countless mistakes along the way, trying dangerous dieting strategies and wasting hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars running enthusiastically in the wrong direction. 4 years into my own fitness journey I hired a coach and made more progress in 4 months than I had in 4 years. That's when I realised the power of knowledge and wisdom. Professionally I started out as an engineer working for defence manufacturer BAE Systems in.After several promotions and a look at my corporate world future, I did not like what the future held. In 2018 I decided I was going to start my own fitness business. I spent nights and weekends gaining the necessary qualifications while working at BAE Systems. I built the business up over 2.5 years while working full time and then took a leap of faith in 2020 to go all in on my passion - Fitness Coaching. I founded The High Performance Health Program and have bootstrapped our company the whole way. Today our team has 19 full time employees - which includes 9 dedicated and highly qualified coaches with more than 190 years experience between us.We help executives get fitter, stronger & healthier using a science backed & data driven 1-1 online coaching program. We've helped 2,000+ clients since 2018. Our goal at High Performance Health is simple... Help busy executives get & stay healthy. The best form of cure is prevention. When heart disease, cancer, dementia or metabolic diseases take hold they shorten our lives and destroy our quality of life. We want to be at the front lines of preventing disease, minimising the risks of our clients getting them and even reversing them for those who may already have some health compl

Strong Medicine
I’m a sports medicine physician with extensive experience in biomechanics. I joined the program not because I don’t understand how best to eat, sleep, or train but because I was looking for help with organization, accountability, and an evidence-based approach to fitness that aligned with my goals. High Performance Health through the dedication of Scott provides exactly that. Weekly video conferences, daily texts, biometric feedback through wearable tech/apps, and regular re-evaluations with training updates helped me to lose 30lbs in the past 5 months and transform into a much stronger/leaner/healthier version of myself. I highly recommend this program for busy executives/professionals (with spouses and kids who play travel sports) or any body that values flexibility from their high-end training program.

Fitness without the Drama
I started working with Steve because I had reached a point where I looked in the mirror and thought, “How did this happen?” I was 210 lbs in October 2025 and, at 53, I did not want to accept that getting older meant getting heavier and less fit.
What I needed was structure, not a diet. Steve gave me a clear framework for tracking calories and macros, and the integration with MyFitnessPal was a huge help. I did not want someone handing me a menu. I wanted to understand what I was already eating, where I was going wrong, and how to make better decisions myself.
His coaching style has also been exactly right for me. He provides accountability without being annoying about it. He seems to know when to encourage me, when to give me a nudge, and when to basically tell me to stop complaining and get back to work. I did not want a drill sergeant or a babysitter. I wanted a coach, and that is what Steve has been.
One of the biggest things Steve has taught me is that fitness does not require being maniacal. You just have to be real and consistent. Discipline is not some magical quality that some people are born with and others are not. Most of the time, it is much simpler than that.
Steve has a line I come back to all the time: do not listen to the part of you that asks whether you feel like doing it. Who cares whether you feel like it? It is not really about feelings. You just do what you said you were going to do.
That mindset has been incredibly useful because it takes so much drama out of fitness. You do not need to be perfect. You do not need to be fired up every morning. You do not need to punish yourself for a bad meal or a missed workout. You just get back to it.
The workout programming has been just as valuable. I go into the gym knowing exactly what I am supposed to do instead of wasting time figuring it out. When an exercise has aggravated an injury, Steve has simply adjusted the programming so I could keep training rather than losing momentum.
Most importantly, the program feels sustainable. I travel, eat at restaurants, have a demanding job, and live a normal life. Steve has helped me build fitness around that reality instead of pretending life will somehow get out of the way.
I am now down 25 lbs 11 months later, significantly leaner, stronger, more energy, better sleep and in much better cardiovascular shape. More importantly, I feel like I finally understand how nutrition, strength training, and cardio fit together.
Steve has helped me stop thinking about fitness as a short-term project and start thinking about it as something I can manage for the rest of my life. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Personalized Coaching That Fits Real…
Personalized Coaching That Fits Real Life
James has been great to work with. He takes the time to understand my goals, my schedule, and what I’m physically capable of doing. He adjusts the plan when life gets busy or something isn’t working for me, but he still pushes me to make progress. It feels like coaching built around me rather than a standard program I’m expected to fit into.
His support goes beyond workouts and nutrition. He’s a great person to talk things through with and, at times, feels like a therapist as much as a coach. He listens, helps me work through setbacks, and keeps me focused without making me feel like one difficult week has undone everything.
James is also incredibly responsive. When I need to change plans or have a question come up at the last minute, he gets back to me quickly and helps me figure out what to do. That availability makes it much easier to stay consistent. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a coach who is invested in their progress and willing to adapt to what real life throws at them.

High Performance Health ROI
What makes this work for me? The program is structured with clear guidance on physical training and meal plan; it also includes flexibility to pivot when PT is affected by work and travel. Prior to working with my HPH Coach Scott, that was my barrier to weight loss and a healthy lifestyle - but with his support I’m on a path to losing weight sustainably and getting stronger and much healthier. I recommend HPH to anyone who is burdened with difficult work schedules that impact Fitness activities or struggles to ID a rational weight management program. Losing weight and getting stronger!

Excellent Experience!!
I have had an excellent experience working with Coach Scott at The High Performance Health Program. Having a personal trainer understand your goals and then create a program for your fitness, health, and diet is incredibly helpful. I have noticed improvements in my fitness, energy levels, endurance, and overall well-being. Highly recommend this high ROI program!

I have had an excellent experience so far with the High Performance Health Program
I have had an excellent experience so far with this program. When I started just over 8 weeks ago my trainer (Pavol) said that this program always gets results. I have seen these results so far with a steady drop in weight, improved fitness and body composition.
What I like about this program is that it is very practical and holistic. It focusses on nutrition (Protein bias), monitoring, strength training, and movement through steps with a weekly virtual accountability check-in. All of this is done via a fantastic APP that tracks all of the above, including sleep and body measurements. There are also "chit-sheets" that come out via email and Linkedin that educate with simple messages.
The weekly check-in with Pavol has been excellent too. He provides the right blend of encouragement with education and motivation.

High Performance Health Program
I've been working with Steve as my High Performance Health coach for 12 weeks now, and overall the experience has been solid. He's given me clear direction on caloric intake and protein targets, and the workout programming has kept me engaged and making progress. He's kept me accountable throughout the past 12 weeks, and he's quick with positive feedback when I hit my numbers or stay consistent, which helps keep motivation up.
Since nothing is ever perfect, the one area I'd like to see him lean into more with me in particular is pushing a bit harder on that accountability — calling out specific deficiencies directly when I'm not staying on track or making the progress we both feel I should. A bit more directness when I'm falling short would help me course-correct faster.
Overall, solid coaching with clear nutrition and training guidance and consistent accountability over the past 12 weeks — just want more of the tough-love, "here's exactly where you're falling short" style pointed at me when I need it.

More Than a Trainer — An Investment in My Life
More Than a Trainer — An Investment in My Life
I first became familiar with High Performance over a year ago when I met founder Andrew Marsham while researching an employee benefit program for our company. At the end of May, I decided it was time to make an investment in my own health and began working with Scott Ludwig.
When I started, I weighed approximately 185 pounds with 29.7% body fat. My energy level was extremely low, and I was coming back from a fractured hip. I set some pretty aggressive goals: get down to 160 pounds, ultimately reach 20% body fat, improve my strength and mobility, and, most importantly, do everything I can to live a healthy, active life to 100.
Today I'm at 167 pounds and 24.2% body fat, and we're not finished.
What makes Scott exceptional is that he isn't simply my trainer, he's my accountability partner. He pays attention to how I'm doing physically, knows when to push me and when my body is telling us to ease off, and continually modifies my workouts based on my progress, schedule and what keeps me engaged. He actually asks what I like and don't like about the programs he designs and changes them accordingly. That may sound simple, but it makes an enormous difference when you're looking forward to going to the gym instead of dreading another repetitive workout.
Our work has also gone far beyond the hour I spend exercising. I've become much more conscious of getting at least 150 grams of protein each day, striving for 10,000 steps, eliminating alcohol, and paying attention to the other areas of my health that I had been putting off. During this journey I've addressed my testosterone levels, been tested for sleep apnea and am now addressing it, and become much more proactive about staying on top of my overall medical health.
Scott doesn't take credit for those decisions, and he shouldn't. But having someone holding me accountable, encouraging me and genuinely caring about my progress has helped create the momentum that made me want to take greater responsibility for all aspects of my health.
And that's probably the biggest change of all. I'm more motivated today than I was when we started. I want to get to 160 pounds. I want to reach 20% body fat. I want to continue getting stronger and healthier. And then I want to see what's possible after that.
Along the way, Scott has also become someone I consider a friend. I genuinely believe he cares about whether I succeed.
If someone asked me whether working with Scott Ludwig is worth the money, my answer would be very simple:
I feel like Scott has helped add years to my life. I don't know how you put a dollar amount on that. To me, it's priceless.
Five stars for Scott Ludwig and High Performance.
