Even i don't want to give 1 star for review. Very poor customer service. Online order has not delivered on time, actually not yet, delayed more than 2 hours. I paid 10 dollars for same day delivery between 1 and 3 pm. Right now 5: 10 pm, there is no single update, and hard to find contact number. Review is worthless. I will not use Hmart online any more.

21 cans out of 25 got damaged severely when they came in. When calling their online delivery service they didn’t answer after having us on hold for over an hour. When calling the number that was on the shipping label for their Orlando location, they were no help and hung up after ushering us to the online number again. Even after sending pictures we got no response for our emails. This is not the first time we have gotten damaged items from them. This is unacceptable.

Physical store is great. Website is not great. Most things you search, the items that I know they sell in the store, do not appear, or it shows completely irrelevant items.

I think H Mart does a great job. Our family often goes to the one on Route 17 in Paramus, NJ. The marinated meats that you put on the grill are outstanding. The fruits and vegetables are typically nice and the staff is helpful and courteous. I think they do a great job.

I went to H Mart in Orlando, FL for the first time and probably will never go back. Their customer service is horrible. The workers are rude and not at all helpful. While I found a few good deals, most of their stuff is over-priced.

I love going to Hmart in person but their shipping is so stupid and awful. I placed an order for $125 worth of stuff (shipping fee was waived). Today I get an email that $97 worth of my order is out of stock so they removed those items, charged me a $10 shipping fee for the remaining $15 worth of stuff and shipped it like that anyway without my consent to the changes. I'm so upset!

I ordered online on june 10, 2026 discounted frozen merchandise from $29.99 to $14.99 was paid for but they did not ship it. Approximately 10 days later I contacted customer service, was told that they ran out of product! But they were selling it for regular price of $29.99. I've never experienced such a thing. Wow will not ever order from Hmart.

I shopped at the Hmart at 2600 Alton Pkwy in Irvine on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. After I finished eating at the Korean cafe inside the store and walked out around 4:45 PM, a security guard named Mauricio Lopez approached me outside, speaking only Spanish, with his hand out in a demanding manner. I do not speak Spanish and asked him repeatedly to speak English. He kept going in Spanish. Based on his stern, demanding tone and the fact that he's a security guard, it was clear he was accusing me of something — most likely stealing — and gesturing toward my purse. I went back inside to speak with the manager, Youngshin Park. In front of her, the guard's excuse was that I had used the wrong door — which was not true, I came out the exit. He never saw me in the act of stealing anything, because there was nothing to see. Instead, he waited until I had finished eating and was on my way out to confront me, which felt spiteful rather than like legitimate security work. And even if the door had truly been the issue, the right thing to do was say something while I was still inside the store, not chase me outside. I asked the manager to review the cameras. I spent about 15 minutes trying to resolve a situation I never should have been in. Earlier, I had seen this same guard standing in the doorway with his arm resting on store product, not actively doing his job. Then he singled me out, an ordinary customer who had done nothing wrong, and confronted me outside in a language I couldn't understand. I've submitted a formal complaint to Hmart corporate and asked them to preserve the camera footage. Customers deserve better than to be confronted outside a store by a guard they can't even communicate with.
