the people were actually really trying to help on the phone though we had to wait for an hour to get on. They just would not or could not share information that should be available to customers who pay 10's and thousands of dollars per year for insurance. I wish I had monitored billing when my wife had cancer as I am sure they misbilled me.

Another poor experience yet again this company is the worst. Lies with no accountability.

Health Partners is great except when you really need them. My wife needed an ambulance to get her to the hospital. Health Partners did not cover the bill. They explained that they have two options with ambulance providers - pay the full bill or pay what they feel the ambulance ride should have cost. They explicitly say they will pay the lower of the two and since they get to decide what they think it should cost, they end up only covering about half. This approach is asinine and inexcusable. I would leave them if they weren’t the only insurance option through my employer. I would never recommend them.

This is a big issue. I was told they had to wait for insurance to approve xrays, a year past and I reach out.(now mind you I am an adult and at anytime in that year I could have reached out. I was dealing is family illness, family dependent on me, death of family while during operating hours there job is to their customers. Weeks even a couple months it happens but a year, and I reached out. At this time I stead of top and bottom partials, the last of my teeth were removed! While trying to obtain the money for dentures, a painful shard began poking out of the roof of my mouth. At this time dentist has moved on, so without being informed I scheduled a follow up for this issue. New assistants hear me out, and bring in a doctor I have never met. He speaks to the assistant, sticks his glived finger in my mouth feels the spot. And speaks to assistant, then sticks a needle in my mouth. I panicked and push him away, I dont know ow him or what he is planning yet he what's to just start. Nope I left. A couple weeks later spot went away, I obtain the money and call to begin denture process. First the impression, no explanation of what to expect during this, just this is step one. Again another impression, then a bite impression. Final a wax fitting, top is gagging me, bottom loose, everything uncomfortable. Second wax fit again gag, and bottom loose. At this appointment im asked to sign a paper told its agreeing to appointment. NO its accepting is fitting and agreeing to final product! This time dentist wants bite adjust. Third wax now top is loose as well as bottom. I inform them it been almost 5 months and $2000 im not happy, no one is addressing and thing I say so im done stop the process given me back my money. Was told its the wax , once I get the final product it will be different. So reluctantly I sign and move on to final. Dentist his self assures me it is the wax that not fitting. First final, gag top loose top still loose bottom. Now im pissed, (I am a loud people normally) but I dont yell I just ask to speak to someone in charge . Inform her of these issues and tell her I want my records as well as refund! She informs me I have been an issue patient from day one! And there is no refund, request that I met with the technician (person that makes dentures) to address these problems. I did (two weeks later) explained best I could what the problem and conserns. Week later second try in. Still not fitting , but I had done some research and unstoppable so of the issue is comfortable with wearing. I am sent home with teeth. NOT ONCE DID I COMMENT ANYTHING CLOSE TO "THEY FIT" I watched the assistant type in my chart patient accepts the fit. I'm pussed and not stuck with a $2000 paperweight. It's been a little more then two weeks, trying every day to wear them. They fall out even with the horrible paste, they dont fit have never fit! So I call, something has to be done. Oct 22 for my one adjustment! I already know its not going to fit (ever) they got their money and have labeled me "karen" and its done. I'm so pissed, the assurance that it was the wax, telling me it was me, THEY DONT FIT, I am hoping before Oct 22 someone will reach out and give me some kind of hope that something can be done.

Denial of in network services. Refusal to provide written proof of prior authorizations. Renegotiated out of pocket costs mid-contract. Polished off with gaslighting and lack of transparency in patient responsibility documentation.

I don't understand the bad reviews. I've been going to Health Partners for over a decade. My doctors have gone well beyond what they had to do. All insurances have good and bad doctors. Just do your research beforehand. And, dont write reviews when your expectations are unrealistic. I just wish I could write my doctors, and nurses, names down so you could see them. But then I wouldn't be able to get my easy appointments! I love Health Partners!

Had Dr Noone , great knowledge and even gave myself help to ask GP for things that should be happening

HP partnered with Exact Sciences sent out unsolicited test kits. Then shortly after sent multiple texts prompting the completion of the “ NO COST SCREENING” . I sent it in after about 10 days and shortly afterwards received a $681 bill for this “Free Screening” HP used deceptive and predatory tactics to run this BS scam on thousands of people. What a scam company!
