Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re delighted to hear that you had a great experience with Hazelton’s Gift Baskets. Your feedback truly means a lot to us. We look forward to serving you again in the future!
2 week delay without any tracking, it just randomly showed up. It included FROZEN items such as tru-fru... It also included cheese that needed to be refrigerated. All items were substitutions from what is advertised on the website and expiring within the next 2 months. They sent a bag of chips and a package of cookies and both were absolutely DESTROYED to crumbs. Would NOT recommend this service to anyone. My dad ordered this basket for us and all I can say is that he was absolutely scammed.

We want to sincerely apologize for the poor experience you and your father had with this gift. It is incredibly disappointing to hear that the basket arrived after a significant delay, with damaged items, and in a condition that fell far below our quality standards. Regarding the contents, we understand the frustration caused by the extensive substitutions and the inclusion of items that were not handled according to their temperature requirements. We also regret that the snacks arrived crushed and that the tracking information was not properly communicated during the 2-week transit. We take full responsibility for these failures. This experience is being taken to heart as a "be better" moment for our team. We are currently reviewing our fulfillment and shipping protocols for perishable items to ensure we remain true to the premium quality we promise. We would like to make this right for you and your father. Please reach out to our customer service team at your earliest convenience so we can provide a proper resolution.
I do not recommend this company. At first glance, the website and the company itself look beautiful, premium, and prestigious, creating the impression of high-quality service and reliability. But in practice, I became convinced that behind this image are dishonest people, poor service, and a complete lack of respect for customers. My order was delivered late, and most importantly, the gift set costing around $260 did not include the actual picnic basket, even though it was clearly stated in the product description and that was the main reason I placed the order in the first place. When I contacted the company, they responded only with automated messages and did nothing to resolve the issue. To me, this looks like misleading product advertising and extremely unprofessional treatment of a customer. If it were possible, I would give this company 0 points. On my side, I will continue reporting this matter to the relevant authorities. I do not recommend ordering anything from this company.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet expectations. We’d like to clarify a couple of important details regarding your order. As outlined on our website, some items—such as baskets or specific components—may be substituted with items of equal or greater value if they are unavailable at the time of fulfillment. This substitution policy ensures that orders can still be delivered without significant delays, especially for time-sensitive gifts. Additionally, the shipping method selected for your order was a non-guaranteed delivery service. While we always aim to meet the estimated delivery dates, this option does not guarantee arrival on a specific day, and delays can occasionally occur depending on the courier. That said, we understand how important the picnic basket was to you, and we regret any disappointment caused. If you’d like us to review your order further, please contact our support team with your order number so we can look into this in more detail.
This was not a case of minor substitutions—this was a noticeable downgrade in both quality and value. Multiple items were replaced with non-equivalent products, including “gourmet” items swapped for basic grocery-brand alternatives (e.g., gourmet almonds ordered, Planters peanuts received). The most concerning issue was the cheese board. The advertised acacia wood board was replaced with what appears to be a low-quality, unfinished pine piece that is not comparable in material, quality, or value. The board does not appear food-safe, as it is raw, unfinished wood with visible fasteners. I have attached a photo for reference. I contacted customer service with documentation and a reasonable request for resolution. Unfortunately, they declined to offer a replacement or partial refund and provided only an apology. Based on this experience, I would not order again.

We are truly sorry that the gift you received did not meet the high standards we strive for at Hazelton's. We missed the mark, particularly regarding the quality of the substitutions and the finish of the cheese board you described. While our Substitution Policy allows for replacements of equal or greater value to ensure timely delivery, I understand that in this case, the items provided felt like a downgrade. Please know that we are reviewing our current inventory and our substitution processes to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We value your feedback and are committed to doing better.
This was the first time I've ordered. Ease on ordering and creating what I wanted to gift the receiver. The outcome, a big thank you saying how beautiful the basket received was.

Thank you so much for the 5-star review! We are thrilled to hear that your first experience with us was a success. It is wonderful to know that you found the ordering and customization process easy to navigate. Most importantly, we are delighted that the recipient loved the beautiful basket you created. We truly appreciate your business and look forward to helping you with your next gift!
Ok, so the recipients finally received the gift basket . . 5 days late and after the intended event. Turns out it would have been better if they never received it . . the fruit was moldy so they had to deal with a gross package.

We want to sincerely apologize for the continued frustration regarding your order. It is deeply disappointing to hear that after the initial delivery delay, the fruit arrived in such poor condition. We understand that providing a gift that is both late and unusable is a failure on our part to meet the standards we promise. We take full responsibility for the quality of the perishable items in your basket. We are currently reviewing our internal quality control and fulfillment procedures to ensure we remain true to the freshness our customers expect, especially when a delivery timeline has been extended. We would like to resolve this for you immediately. Please reach out to our customer service team so we can assist you with a resolution regarding the damaged items.
I ordered a custom gift basket to include: METAL CONTAINER WOULD YOU LIKE?: GALVANIZED BUCKET WHICH ITEMS WOULD YOU LIKE TO ADD?: GOURMET FOODS & SNACKS, CHEESE, FRUITS, CHOCOLATE WHICH GOURMET FOODS & SNACKS WOULD YOU LIKE TO ADD?: TRADITIONAL BUTTER CRACKERS, DARK CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES, PEANUTS, CASHEWS WHAT KIND OF CHEESE?: VINTAGE SHARP CHEDDAR WHAT KINDS OF FRUIT WOULD YOU LIKE?: GRAPES - RED (1 BUNCH), STRAWBERRIES (1 CONTAINER) WHICH CHOCOLATES WOULD YOU LIKE TO ADD?: DARK CHOCOLATE BOOK BOX, INDIVIDUAL WRAPPED TRUFFLES They delivered: - apples and oranges - milk chocolate bar - peanuts and cashews - brie - dark chocolate chip shortbread cookies - dark chocolate bar collection - classic butter crackers Wrote in to tell them the order was messed up and they claimed “ We always do our best to ensure every gift exceeds expectations. However, from time to time, substitutions may be necessary to make sure orders are delivered on time, especially when a particular item becomes unavailable or discontinued after our product listings have been published.” It is very peculiar that strawberries, grapes, and sharp cheddar cheese became unavailable or discontinued. They stated they would do nothing to fix the delivery. Major BAIT AND SWITCH. Very disappointed.

We want to sincerely apologize for the frustration caused by the significant differences between your custom selections and the delivered basket. It is clear that we failed to meet the standard of customization you expected, and we are sorry our previous response felt dismissive. While our substitution policy allows for changes to ensure timely delivery, we understand that replacing specific items like strawberries and sharp cheddar without notice feels like a breakdown of the service we promised. We are currently reviewing our fulfillment and communication processes to ensure that our commitment to customization is honored and that any necessary changes are better communicated.
Basket was supposed to ship if order placed before 2:00 pm. Said items usually arrived within 2 business days. Item was still at the post office waiting shipping on the day it was supposed to arrive. DO NOT USE THEM. If you do, don’t trust delivery in a timely manner.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I want to sincerely apologize for the frustration regarding your delivery timeline; we understand how important it is for a gift to arrive when expected. I would like to clarify that for this order, the Typical Delivery option was selected. While we always aim to have these packages arrive within the estimated 2-business-day window, this specific shipping method is an estimate and does not carry a guaranteed arrival date. However, we recognize that the delay you experienced at the shipping facility fell short of the prompt service we strive to provide. We are using your feedback to better refine our fulfillment internal processes and to ensure our delivery estimates are as accurate as possible for our customers. We are committed to learning from this to improve our service moving forward. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
