The Originator of the Seersucker Suit. Founded in New Orleans in 1909, Haspel is the originator of the seersucker suit and now offers a vibrant collection of men's shirts, pants, and fashion accessories. Known for innovative lightweight fabrics, Haspel is the preferred men's clothing brand to keep you looking and feeling cool. Damn right! ABOUT US Joseph Haspel, Sr. originated the use of a lightweight cotton fabric known as seersucker in the manufacturing of men's suits in the early 1900's. His suit solution for Louisiana's blazing summer heat became the brand's signature item, propelling Haspel's popularity beyond its southern roots, while making an indelible mark on American menswear. In the following decades, Haspel continued to expand its offerings, attracting new enthusiasts with its bold colors and classic sensibilities. It also pushed the envelope of innovation, introducing stretch fabrics and working with fabric companies to create the "miracle fiber" used in wash-and-wear suits. Owned by the Haspel family, the brand today has built on it's iconic tradition in Summer Suits and expanded it's roots in menswear to accessories and new products. Better than expected. Ordered a size up for my husband so that we could tailor it to fit. Pant legs were slightly to slim on him, so if you have an athletic build be mindful that you will likely need to have the pants taken out. Shipping was super fast.

Thank you for the great review and for the feedback on sizing!
You can go to high street; and find a tailor; and be fitted for a bespoke suit. You can order a Haspel jacket; have it delivered in a couple of days; and lay out four Benjamins. Your choice. I like summer. I like seersucker. I like ordering my size; and getting my size — my American size. You will too.

Thank you for choosing American made and thank you for choosing Haspel. Thanks for the great review!
I ordered my shirt knowing that the first order can be a bit of a gamble. The shirt was amazing, but it could not quite contain my lifter's physique in spots. Exchanged for the next size up, and the process went smoothly and quickly. I will definitely be a return customer.

You're very welcome. Thank you for the great review!
I had ordered a Sapphire Bleau Sport Coat and wasn’t sure it would be available when needed for a wedding in Charleston, SC. In July. Will said they could put in a special order and promised it would be shipped to me around June 20th. I already had ordered the pants and received them. In checking Haspel’s website I found the Granite Gray (which was a new color) in stock in the sizes I needed. Ordered both pieces. Talked to Will and he cancelled the special order and I was able to return the pants although it was passed the 30 days. Will is very professional and helpful. I also ordered the tie that was with the suit. Would recommend Haspel’s to anyone. Very satisfied with their company and the needs of the clients.
