The Originator of the Seersucker Suit. Founded in New Orleans in 1909, Haspel is the originator of the seersucker suit and now offers a vibrant collection of men's shirts, pants, and fashion accessories. Known for innovative lightweight fabrics, Haspel is the preferred men's clothing brand to keep you looking and feeling cool. Damn right! ABOUT US Joseph Haspel, Sr. originated the use of a lightweight cotton fabric known as seersucker in the manufacturing of men's suits in the early 1900's. His suit solution for Louisiana's blazing summer heat became the brand's signature item, propelling Haspel's popularity beyond its southern roots, while making an indelible mark on American menswear. In the following decades, Haspel continued to expand its offerings, attracting new enthusiasts with its bold colors and classic sensibilities. It also pushed the envelope of innovation, introducing stretch fabrics and working with fabric companies to create the "miracle fiber" used in wash-and-wear suits. Owned by the Haspel family, the brand today has built on it's iconic tradition in Summer Suits and expanded it's roots in menswear to accessories and new products. Honestly, the best suits ever. Priced reasonably. On top of that, customer service is amazing. I live NYC, the suits in the summer time are a must. I’m constantly stopped and complimented. I will be a forever customer!! Keep up the great brand @Haspel Team.

Thank you for your great review!
Haspel is a great American clothing company. Haspel's customer service cannot be beaten and the quality of their clothes is outstanding. If all American companies treated customers like Haspel, the public would be ecstatic. Neither Nordstrom nor Saks Fifth Avenue can hold a candle to the personal service Haspel's management showed me and I am grateful for their kindness and I cannot recommend Haspel highly enough. Buy with confidence.

We love helping our customers! Thank you for the great review.
I purchased the Cocktail Olive Seersucker Suit. First wearing was with a crimson and gold microdot bow tie, and crimson patterned silk square from OTAA, and a crisp white shirt. I really like it, and received several WOWs throughout the day! This is my 4th and favorite Haspel suit so far!

Thanks for the great review!
Shoes were mislabeled as a 10. They were at least an 11. I contacted customer service to inquire about an exchange. No response. Now it’s a return. And I’m unlikely to give Haspel another shot. This was easy. A white suede buck. How do you screw that up?

Order and delivery were easy and the items arrived promptly. Quality is excellent with anything I have ordered with this company. They are very consistent with their quality. No inferior products sold at a lesser price.
