Thank you for the honest feedback, especially the great review for our Guardian Pueblo, CO technician. I have forwarded your review to our Management team in that area to recognize their outstanding service! Unfortunately, our devices' settings are dictated by state regulations, so the fail readings on our devices are outside our control. Please note that the ignition interlock device will register any trace of alcohol from any source containing it - this is how the device effectively ensures an impaired individual is not able to start a vehicle, and how we are able to confidently state the Guardian ignition interlock is fulfilling its purpose. We advise in our training manuals, training videos, and in person when our clients install the device - to be mindful of testing right after eating, drinking, using mouthwash, etc., as doing this can potentially register a fail and will require the device to be reset. Guardian has 100s of service centers across the country for your convenience, which means it makes the most sense for our shop to only use one credit card system to ensure our field partners are also getting paid for their service as quickly as possible.
