Bad customer service. Called twice and emails to find out where plant was that was supposed to be shipped April 19. They finally emailed stating my ship date is "the week of may 16th". Don't bother ordering from this company, Unless it's some unique plant material, you could probably get all the same stuff much quicker locally. Useless company.

Ordered 3 tomato plants to be delivered to SC. Received message that they would be 2 weeks late. Past 2 weeks and no word. Need to know if they are delivering or not. Very disappointed! Had I known I could have ordered them elsewhere. It will get too hot here real soon for young plants. Missing the tomato season is a dagger to my heart!

Placed an order back in February and was hoping to purchase San marzano tomatoes.out of stock in indiana (grow joy is in Berne indiana 43 miles from my location) I was told I could order starting March 19-no- out of stock. I was told I could order in April -no-out of stock. I cancelled my order.I PLACED AN ORDER WITH HIRTS GARDEN in Ohio,I placed my order on 4/30 and it arrived 5/3. Healthy plants protected in bubble wrap IN THREE DAYS!ORDER FROM HIRTS GARDENS!not growjoy

I should give one star, or no star if possible. I ordered four lantana plants, a jalapeño, and a squash plant. I’m in Northern Nevada. I’ve ordered plants from various places over the years. If you don’t order early everything is out of stock, but every place I’ve ever ordered, until GrowJoy, looked at charts and didn’t ship until safe to plant. My plants got here before mid April and I had no good place to keep them inside so no choice except plant them. The jalapeño, squash, and two lantana didn’t survive the cold here. Two lantana look very bad but possibly survive. I have emailed GrowJoy to complain. I’ve called and can only get voicemail. I’ve left two phone numbers and a text number. I’ve received no response at all. I will never use or recommend them again.

They censor bad reviews on their site. Everything is 5 stars because they delete and drop anything that isn't at least four stars(and likely dump most of those)

We would love to say we loved our plant, but we haven't received it. We've had to cancel one order this year (veggie plants) due to the company's expansion project delaying delivery up to a month. With this order, the butterfly bush and 4 Lantana, we've received the Lantana, but in place of the butterfly bush we received a notice that it is on back order. We did not receive a notice of this BEFORE filling our order, giving us a chance to cancel order, in part or whole. It wasn't on back order when we ordered it (no "currently unavailable" message), just as there is no such messages on the butterfly bush ( Buzz™ Midnight Buddleia Plant (Butterfly Bush) at the time of this posting, 3:16 pm, Central time, 4/24/21. Buyer beware; website is not kept up to date where product availability is concerned, at least at this time.

Plants arrived late (with no "back-order" notice) and were totally beat up. Unacceptable. Broken, crushed, lots of dead leaves. Poorly packaged. Even if they had arrived in healthy condition, the plants were very small. Never again. A complete waste. I e-mailed them asking for a refund. No reply. Maybe they are out of business? DO NOT ORDER PLANTS FROM THIS OUTFIT.

Nothing shipped - if this is a legit company they need to get their act together. Offered a full refund but it is too soon to know if I will get it. UPDATE: two days after requesting full refund the plants were shipped. Received today - two of the 3 were very dead. 3rd is alive with yellowed leaves. Should I keep fingers crossed for its survival?
