We've had Petplan for 5 years and currently have coverage on both of our dogs. Our doberman has had double shoulder surgery and a follow-up surgery a couple of years ago and fully recovered. Unfortunately, he was recently diagnosed with a bulging disc that was putting pressure on his spinal cord and causing a great deal of pain and partial paralysis. Petplan has covered approximately $10,000 for the shoulder surgery and now is covering the majority of the expenses associated with our recent surgery and upcoming rehabilitation. Fortunately we have Petplan and don't have to worry about the financial implications and can get the care needed. Without Petplan, the alternative would have been to let our beloved pet go through life suffering, or worse, having to consider losing him from our lives. Petplan promptly processes claims consistent with the terms of our coverage and we've had no issues. Thank you Petplan.

My dog was diagnosed with kidney disease, and he went through a year of constant trips to the animal hospital. I was sure that when it came time to file claims, that they would wiggle out of paying somehow, but the claims were always paid promptly and correctly. I was able to focus on my dog and treating him, and not have the added worry of the financial burden. They actually pay out the reimbursement percentage of what you paid and not a ridiculous scale that has no basis in reality. I highly recommend PetPlan..

Pet Plan was the only company that would take our 2 older cats who were over 10 when enrolled. As it turns out it was our youngest cat who developed cancer and tragically died this year despite every effort with surgery and chemo. Pet Plan covered her treatment at our 80% level and helped ease the stress of the financial aspect, though nothing can heal our hearts. We get our reimbursement checks in 2-4 weeks after the claim is received. It's definitely paid for itself, and we will continue to insure our pets with Pet Plan.

About a week after rescuing my Oliver, I knew I needed an insurance policy with him. He is absolutely an insane, high-energy dog always getting into trouble. However, because he was a rescue and not from a reputable breeder, I was concerned about what health issues I may run into in the future. I researched almost every single pet insurance company in the United States and kept seeing excellent reviews from Petplan. I decided to go onto the website to look into their plans again and just had a hunch that this was the right one for us. It has been two years, there have been a few claims filed, and every single one has been paid in the full amount in less than 30 days. Seriously, I have never dealt with a company who is so kind, caring and professional. I swear, my dog has better insurance than I do. After one of Oliver's incidents of getting into some grapes (very toxic to dogs), he seemed to have sustained some kidney damage. My vet recommended we run some tests to see exactly what is going on with his kidneys as his lab work has been off ever since. The first thing I did after receiving the $630 estimate from the vet was to call Petplan. The representative I spoke to (I can't recall her name), was SO helpful and walked me through what I would have to do to get these procedures pre-authorized, so I know that they would be covered once I paid the vet. Today, after sending all of the appropriate paperwork, I got my approval email from Petplan and a phone call from Norma Sanchez to let me know of the approval. I have to say, I had a feeling it was going to be approved but still worried a little that it would cost so much to get to the bottom of Oliver's condition. Not only was this approved, but I was told everything regarding his treatments if he should need them, would be covered by Petplan. It would be in your greatest interest to get a policy with petplan. You never ever know when you are going to need to use it. I figured it would most likely be used when Oliver was older with health conditions, but I sure was wrong. This company is EXCELLENT. I am so so happy with them and know that should I ever get another dog, I will 100% be calling them for another plan. I HIGHLY recommend them! Emily & Oliver

I purchased a PetPlan policy for my dog, Milo, about 6 years ago when Milo was 6. I only had one small claim for dental extractions, which was handled quickly and efficiently by PetPlan, until this past year. Milo was diagnosed with cancer requiring surgery and ongoing treatment. Having a PetPlan policy in place allowed me the peace of mind to be able to proceed with diagnostic testing (CT scans, ultrasounds, etc), surgery (twice) and follow-up testing for metastasis and treatment. PetPlan has made the claims process very easy and have processed each claim related to Milo's treatment in a very timely manner. The PetPlan staff is easy to reach by telephone or email, and they area always kind and friendly to work with. I couldn't be more pleased that I purchased and maintained a policy for my dog, and I will always insure any future pets with a PetPlan policy. After several years of thankfully not needing to use the coverage, PetPlan was definitely there when I needed them the most when facing expensive oncology treatment. Milo is doing great in recovery, and thanks to PetPlan, so is my bank account!

I regularly joke that my dog has better insurance than I do. I love Amy B. She has gotten us through so tough times. Im a loyal customer and always will be.

I have two cats insured and PetPlan has been wonderful to deal with. They are always helpful whenever I call with questions. They answer quickly and they really seem to care - asking about my cats by name. Superb service and great value for the price. They always do what they say they will do. If only human insurance was this good!
