Great experience working with Alex! I came in strong on quant but knew verbal was going to be my challenge, especially reading comprehension. Alex zeroed in on exactly where I was weak and worked through it with me methodically, and I noticeably improved in verbal as a result. His materials were clear and well-organized, and having someone drill down on specifics rather than just general review made all the difference. Highly recommend him!

Tim from GMAT Ninja helped me get my dream GRE score in just a few sessions! I had already gone through some self paced test prep programs but needed targeted help with quantitative skills and avoiding mistakes. He worked with me on a last minute pivot from the GMAT to the GRE as well, giving me plenty of resources and support in learning GRE specific content and understanding any other differences between tests. Tim patiently walked me through problems by hearing my approach and recommending better ways to avoid mistakes and save valuable time. Overall I was also impressed with how GMAT Ninja assessed my metrics coming in and specific subject areas in depth to give me realistic goals and next steps. I highly recommend, especially if you want to feel more confident before the test and ready for the challenge!

After my first two GMAT attempts (675 and 665), I sought tutoring to reach my target score. I knew my starting point was already a high floor, and was targeting a 700+ score, so I wasn't sure if tutoring would unlock what I needed to reach my target. With barely a month of work and 3 tutoring sessions, Vlad was able to correct several minor issues that were negatively impacting my score. He was patient, and made me aware of the mistakes that I was consistently making, mainly in Quant. I recently took my third GMAT attempt and reached my target (705). I truly believe GMAT Ninja (and Vlad) made a huge difference in how I was approaching several questions to make the jump I needed. I am sure several people would benefit from tutoring from GMAT Ninja, regardless of their starting level.

All the other reviews on here are all accurate in describing how good GMAT ninja is and the processes they use to help you. What I’ll add is that if you’re struggling and can’t move the needle on the GMAT, getting help is not something you should have doubts about. Seek it out. GMAT ninja knows what they’re doing and can help you. Whether it’s a knowledge gap, process or just building confidence, they’re worth the investment. A higher score can change your life. Special shoutout to Alex, who I worked with to raise my score to M7 caliber.

I worked with Tim and was able to improve my GMAT score by 40 points even after I had completed a different online self-paced GMAT course. Tim was organized, an expert at his job, and a refreshing coach. b I'd recommend Tim to anyone who's hit a wall with the GMAT; he'll teach you how to climb it.

I can't rave enough about GMAT Ninja and Tim's GRE tutoring. I went from a 317 GRE to a 325 in 3 weeks. I came to GMAT Ninja following a disappointing test score at the official test center. It was my first time sitting down to get a real score having done independent prep. After getting the news, I had 3 weeks until I HAD to get my score to a 325+ to be competitive for M7 schools. Following my admissions counselor's advice, I reached out to the team on a late weekday night and Charles (the owner) replied within the hour with some advice on whether tutoring would serve me (no sales pitches, just genuine advice that made ... a lot of sense, actually). I was matched with Tim Hesler ("Indiana Tim"), who was so down-to-earth and gave me practical strategies to approaching my prep moving forward. To anyone who is reading this in similar shoes as I may have been, please understand two things: 1. GMAT Ninjas doesn't work magic: I put roughly 25 hours in each week for 3 weeks. So much of the power of working with them is in the accountability. And, to be transparent, the cost of the sessions forces you to hold yourself to it, as well (though, it's worth it). 2. You still need a course or comprehensive prep to get you there content-wise: I had used Target Test Prep for Quant and memorized GregMat's vocab list. With a 2 hour session, Tim couldn't fill in those gaps -- that was on me. What he could do, though, was help me refine strategies that would stick with me on test day. I would 10000% go back and work with GMAT Ninja if I could and recommend them to anyone.

I had a great experience with Mike and the GMAT Ninja team. I improved from a 605 first mock to 695 official exam! I had a lengthy GMAT journey and unfortunately spent a lot of wasted time on certain materials (self study course). After completing 4-5 months of studying from a popular self study course, I decided I needed a one on one tutor to give me personalized help. Before starting, I got a 605 on my first mock which allowed them to gage my skillset. Understandably, I was very frustrated as I had put in hundreds of hours up until that point through the mentioned course. My verbal was very shaky with no real process and for quant I would try solving through intense algebra methods like many of these courses teach. After reviewing my mock, Mike gave me a personalized study plan to improve all sections. This was extremely helpful, especially for someone who felt lost in their studies and didn’t know where to continue. He made it very easy for me to focus on the areas that mattered. He helped me develop a very consistent process on verbal (gmat ninja videos also helped with this) using lsat and official questions. Even more importantly, Mike helped me immensely with quant. He gave me test taking strategies that were EXTRMELY helpful and allowed me to hit my score. Also underrated point is how he helped my mindset toward the test which is such an underrated point. The articles on gmat ninja website also are great for this. Getting this score absolutely took a great amount of work on my end, but I truly believe that I would not have taken my score to this next level without the Ninja team (specifically Mike)! 🥷

Tim is the man! My final score (that helped me get into all my dream schools) was a 715. My GMAT journey was spread over the course of 2 years, and the quickest growth came in the last month with Tim's curated lesson plans and homework that pinpointed exactly the skills I needed to build. Tim really removed the guesswork and accelerated my learning by 10x. He was also very responsive and genuinely committed to help me achieve me goals. His confidence in me was unwavering, which was a big help in helping me develop the mindset to ultimately conquer the GMAT. I will also say I did have one tutor before Tim and the difference was light and day. Tim really listens and understands the exact mental roadblocks students have and knows how to tailor his teaching to help students overcome them. I cannot not speak highly enough of him and highly recommend GMAT Ninja.
