After a few false starts we were losing hope we would be able to adopt a smaller dog. Eventually we met up with a woman in need of re-homing her beloved pet. She was truly heart broken having to give him up and loved him so much she wanted to make sure he went to the right family for HIM. She vetted many families and after a couple meet and greets and many emails she decided on us! Chase was the perfect match for our active family and because he wasn't traumatized being a shelter he was still a happy and secure guy. We still send pictures and updates to his "other mother" and we are all happy with the results! Thank you so much for giving her an option to the shelter :)

The dog we adopted was in terrible condition had impacted fecees, had never been groomed. Our vet said he was in very sad condition was underweight and he had been mistreated by the foster person. They had no records of shots or if he had ever been to a veterinarian? I would not recommend Get Your Pet to anyone....

I was so glad to be able to know Ellie's history prior to adopting her. Also kept her from possibly going to a shelter.

Great site for anyone who loves animals and is tired of all the red tape involved in adopting from shelters. It was great to meet the people who are giving their dogs a new home. I love my new addition to my family!!!

Lola, a Havanese is a wonderful pup who has won over everyone's hearts including our hugh black shepard. The family we adopted her from were great. Overall it was a wonderful experience working with Getyourpet.
