Worst cleaning company ever. They run your credit card and don't show up twice in one week. I am still waiting on my two refunds. Worst customer service. If I don't receive my two refunds I will be contacting the Texas attorney generals office. This company deserves a zero star review.

The cleaning was unacceptable and lacked basic attention to detail. It appeared that no proper cleaning agents were used—surfaces were simply wiped with a rag, leaving behind burnt residue, sticky buildup, and crumbs on the counters and stovetop. The top of the oven was not wiped at all, and the oven itself remained dirty, with no attempt made to remove baked-on food using appropriate tools. In the bathroom, the shower door and floor were not cleaned, and soap scum was still visible on the soap dish. Although the floors were swept and mopped, dirt and food debris were still present, and the closet floor was completely overlooked. Additionally, the sink contained leftover paper debris, likely from improper drying. Overall, the quality of work fell far below expectations and did not meet even a basic standard of cleanliness. I had to clean it myself. They would not refund.

They showed up at noon with only one person for a Move Out cleaning after we took everything out of the house and gave an excuse as to why they couldn’t do it. Could not recommend them any less.

They charged me for the service 2 days before the appointment and then cancelled on me the night before my appt. Not only did they cancel but they just set up a new appt not even asking me if that would work. Made this appt weeks ago specifically for this day for a reason. I wont use them ever again.

I had high hopes for this company as it was recommended through my apartment complex, Camden Apartments, whom I love. Unfortunately, Spruce was completely unprofessional. I planned on making this a monthly subscription to ease some stress in my life for my husband and I. We booked a cleaning at an available scheduled time a week in advance for their largest cleaning service package. We contacted customer service and followed all the instructions to make sure our home was prepared for our cleaning pro. The day came and we booked a slot from 1pm-5pm. We got a message that Tracy, our pro, was on her way at 3:40pm. Late, but I didn’t care, as long as it was cleaned and a job well done. We got a message at 4:30pm that our cleaning was cancelled due to a strong smell and an unclothed person at our home. We work from home so we were there and have a Ring camera. No one came by at all. After speaking to Spruce’s customer service chat for an hour just to prove that no one came to our residence, we were then only offered a percentage of our refund back due to “booking late.” I would NEVER recommend this company. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I hope this saves someone the trouble and some money. Follow up after reading the Spruce reply: I am unable to provide hours of footage from my Ring camera, but why can they not verify with the pro that they went to the correct home or track their vehicle? I just purchased my Ring camera. Naturally, I have no other way to prove someone did not show up. There was no knock or doorbell rung. While I appreciate looking out for the safety of your employees, what about your customers?

Horrible experience, they charge you for everything and when no one shows up they refuse to wave fees to modify for a new cleaning in short period of time

Stay away! The business part of this company is aweful and they do not have a phone number to call anyone to work out issues. Somehow they have got management companies recommending them. None of their staff will read the access comments you put in your account. Our community uses the CHIRP app so the only way to give them access is to receive the cleaners phone number and grant access. They do not get this and can't get it figured out. They were supposed to clean last week but their house cleaner could not figure out the app so she left. This week, they just texted and said they are not going to make it and their first opening is in one week. They litterally do not care about customer service. I have asked for a call or email from a supervisor, which they have not done. Very frustrating.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from this cleaning company. I booked a full cleaning, but several areas—especially my bathroom—were left clearly unfinished. This wasn’t a minor oversight; it was obvious the job was not completed to a reasonable standard. I provided photos to support my concerns, but despite that, the company refused to take full accountability. Instead of resolving the issue fairly, they offered only a partial credit, which does not reflect the level of incomplete service I received. Even after escalating the matter, they declined to make it right. What’s most concerning is not just the poor quality of the cleaning, but the lack of accountability and customer care afterward. I would not recommend this company if you expect thorough service or fair resolution when issues arise.
