The worst cleaning service ever. The first time the cleaning was half decent with three hours. The second time at full price same lady comes spends one hour, HORRIBLE! Customer service is non existent!

The tidy up the place, but they don't clean it. Tried three times, and all three times the place smelled like they cleaned it with dirty rags.

I booked an apartment clean for today and thought I was booking a service to take place between 1-5pm. I have been out all day so they could clean my apartment. At 4.30pm I get a message saying they are running late. At 4.57pm I complained, cancelled and got a refund. My bad, because apparently the time window you book is just the time they might arrive at your place. Or not.

Worst cleaning experience I have ever had. Total waste of money and time. They actually made it dirtier by using nasty equipment and rags. Awful!

I wish i read the reviews before booking an appointment with them. They charge your card a day before. The day of my scheduled service no one showed up they did but went to the wrong house and never came back. It was rescheduled for the next day bit no one showed up. This place is unreliable and a joke. Dont do it!!!

Yesterday I scheduled Spruce to clean my apt on a $45 credit offer. They pre bill by 2 days and I was charged without the credit. 🤬You have to book a time range of 4 hours. 🤬So I booked 1-5pm. After waiting until 5:30 for them to show I cleaned the apt myself as I was expecting guests later.🤬 At 6:30 two non English speaking contractors showed up without explanation or apology.🤬you can’t call Spruce and speak to anyone communication is only through the app🤬first I messaged about the misbilling with all my contact info and a Ben wrote back asking for my contact info so he could “research”🤬 Then I messaged about the no show and they responded that they were sorry but could come on Saturday🤬. I understand they use alien contractors and maybe you will get a good result but the management is atrocious and not competent, responsive or reliable in spite of being the most expensive service in my area 🤬

I have booked with them twice for specific windows of time and they pushed my cleaning 3-4 hours outside of the requested windows. This company will waste your time. One cleaning I had to cancel because they hadn’t shown up by 5pm when my window was 10-2. Today they are pulling the same crap and I actually have guests coming over at 6 and it’s now 4pm. Call a local cleaner that will show up on time. Don’t waste your time with these folks.

So I signed up for Spruce because they have a deal with the management of the town homes we rent. The first time, they sent 2 cleaners who did a phenomenal job. The second time they sent 1 cleaner who did a shoddy job. I complained and they refunded 40 dollars. The 3rd time, I made sure to smudge a tiny bit of makeup on the white sink just to see if I was being unreasonable. The cleaner did not clean it and she was done in less than half the time it took the first cleaners to finish. I think they reel you in and then hope you don't notice what a bad job they do aftwerwards. Book someone else.
