Terrible experience

I was so excited with the selection and styles at Gentleman's Guru. I went to a tailor to get my measurements and then send off my order 9 weeks before a scheduled wedding I was attending in Milwaukee. The tuxedo arrived a few weeks before and was the wrong color and style. They offered to make me a new one in the right style but then told me their website was not up to date and they did not have that color and style anymore. Additionally the sleeve length they sent to me was not correct. Cam up above my wrist. So they offered to send a return label back for a refund however now I do not have a tuxedo for the wedding in 2 weeks and am scrambling to find a rental place. I have to say I am extremely disappointed in the level of quality control and service. How could you make the wrong tuxedo in the wrong color and then tell me sorry we cannot fix the issue. I will never ever shop here again and will definitely pass along my experience to others. To add insult to my experience your reply is very inaccurate. It was not my expectation to get the completely wrong color tuxedo. Mauve not lilac. If you did not have it you should have contacted me in June. Also you still have that same color and style on your website. Also your offer to refund me two weeks before tge wedding after I had booked my flights and hotel. Plus your wrong tuxedo didn't fit to my measurements I sent you. To somehow blame me and not offer any compensation is an insult.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We genuinely apologize for the stress you are experiencing regarding your upcoming wedding in Milwaukee. We want to clarify the timeline and details of your order to ensure clear communication. Your custom-sized tuxedo order was placed on June 9th. It was completed, passed our quality control process to confirm it exactly matched your provided measurements, and shipped on June 25th. The package was successfully delivered to you on June 29th. We received your first inquiry regarding the garment on July 8th, where you indicated the color was not as expected and requested adjustments to some of the measurements. On July 10th, our team reached out to advise that our website's fabric inventory was currently being updated, as the original fabric color you ordered was no longer available. While we immediately offered to either issue a full refund or remake the tuxedo in an alternative style, we also explicitly noted that a brand-new custom order could not be manufactured and delivered within your remaining 2-week timeline. Our records confirm that the original tuxedo shipped was the exact style ordered from our website. To help resolve this urgent situation, we proactively offered several alternative in-stock styles that could be shipped and delivered to you well in time for your event. The prepaid return label we created for you a week ago should be utilized as soon as possible. Once we receive the returned garment at our facility, we will process your prompt refund. Please reply directly to our support email thread if you need the label resent or require further assistance.
