ex-admin
why are some of the 5 star reviews word for word copied and pasted from old reviews several pages back? I will tell you why, as the admin staff who will reply to this claiming its false will know why. While active as an admin on the server we were regularly asked to write positive reviews for this site and others as a way to progress in the chain of command (the other main way was buying ingame content). A lot of us got lazy and would just copy and paste previous posts and change a few words here and there to make it not so obvious but anyone who checks will be able to see how apparent it is. I am making this post mostly out of spite yes, i was an admin mostly on the starwars server and was for the most part active a few nights everyweek. I relocated to a new country, lived in a hotel a few weeks, kept up with what i could on discord but was not active in game for about a month. This was deemed too long and "showed poor dedication to my duties" and was removed as admin, more than that, all of my gear/extras were actioned off in a post saying i was inactive for nearly a year, and even when i posted proof i had only been away a month (bear in mind I had notified corrent channels that I was going to be away from the game a while), the request thread was closed and my account was banned from making new posts.

Yes, some of our most loyal members, who play the most, are staff. We ask them from time to time to leave a honest review here. We never give them anything extra like promotions. If they play here every day and even staff here it is pretty apparent that 9/10 times staff members will leave a good review because they like playing here maybe? For the reason of removal, yes if you are no longer able to be staff in-game you will most likely be removed. Most of the time if someone has a major life event such as moving, being deployed, or being in the hospital we will make an exception and they will not be removed. In the future, I would highly suggest talking to management prior to going inactive to avoid any confusion. In terms of auctioning off items, which I assume you are talking about a Custom Job, I'm not sure you know how this system works as our backend doesn't even physically allow Custom Jobs to be auctioned off even after a month of inactivity. A steamid/job name might help me look into this. I hope eventually you do get settled in in your new country and can enjoy Gaminglight once again.
