Great guide, well organized, enjoyable hikes in the Grand Canyon

I did two Grand Canyon trips with FSG: one South Rim to South Rim and one Rim to Rim. Both were great trips. The logistics, the equipment provided, the food were all great and, foremost our guides were friendly, eager to share their extensive knowledge of the area, and also eager to please.I highly recommend this very professional expedition company.

Dave, our trip was fabulous from start to finish. My daughter and I loved Bob, our guide. Not sure I can recommend any improvements since he did an outstanding job in his preparation, attention to details and guidance that one would not assume for a back-country trek. For instance, I religiously eat one piece of a high-quality dark chocolate every day as part of my nutrition program. When Bob pulled out my favorite dark chocolate after dinner, I knew it was going to be a great trip. At our pre-hike meeting he recommended that we bring books to read at night. Out of 1000’s of books at Barnes & Noble I randomly selected The Alchemist. It was a story about a young man on a personal journey crossing the Sahara Desert to find his treasure. Although I did not find any treasure there were many eye-opening parallels between the book and my personal journey. The main character often recalled that “When you really want something the world will conspire to bring it to you” and that’s how I would sum up this trip. Thanks to Four Season Guides and Bob I got everything I dreamed of from great company, great weather, a tremendous sense of accomplishment achieving a personal challenge of a rim2rim2rim trek of the Grand Canyon on my 60th birthday to quality time with my daughter proving one can accomplish anything at any age if you really want it. The only thing I could have done differently was camp by the Bright Angel Creek the last night instead of the Phantom Ranch bunk house. The creek was far more peaceful on the nights we camped out. On the other hand, my daughter enjoyed her buck house night so sometimes you must satisfy the princess. Tim Skinner

Four Season Guides have a great knowledge of the Grand Canyon. Their service has always been very personalized and always exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend using Four Seasons for your next backpack experience. I have always come away impressed.

From start to finish my experience with Four Season Guides was top notch. I hiked the Grand Canyon Rim2Rim hike with guide Scott. Months before the hike the team at FSG was responsive and quick to answer questions. We were equipped with all the information we needed for a successful hike. Gearing up for the hike was a breeze since they provided the backpacks, tents, and even hiking poles. During the 4 day hike we were in good hands with Scott. He thought of everything and ensured our safety every step of the way. As the slowest of the hiking group he had the perfect temperament to encourage me and keep me on track. I can and do highly recommend this team to everyone!

Our crew just returned from our 7th trip with FSG. They continue to impress which keeps our group coming back for more. Our first night was met with unexpected rain storms around sunset. Fear not, Jeremy was on it. As the rest of us were scrambling to get our tents set up Jeremy was busy cooking a piping hot dinner. Food never tasted so good. The rest of the trip's weather was beautiful affording us the opportunity to take in all of the Canyon's finest offerings - wild critters and views as far as the eye can see. Jeremy's above and beyond customer service and canyon knowledge coupled with storytelling will keep us coming back for many years to come. We can say enough good things about these good people.

Four season guides are outstanding. Last year Rim to Rim Grand Canyon, this year five days of backpacking in Yosemite. They have all the bases covered. They are very responsive and easy to deal with. I would give Four Season Guides an unqualified two thumbs up.

I have taken a few trips with Four Seasons which also included my daughter and boyfriend. We all loved the trips as well as the fun guides who went out of their way to make sure our trips were amazing. The guides also made delicious meals - far better than what I make. I highly recommend taking trips with Four Seasons....
