I have purchased blackberries from other places, planted them carefully, watered as they said, and within the first month, they all died. These plants came alive, vibrant, and healthy. I ensured the soil was what was indicated for them to grow, planted them, and watered them through the worst summer we've had in over a decade. No rain for over a month. Watered almost every night. The nights I couldn't be here to water, they were watered the next morning. They have been in the ground since about May 25th, and they are growing, reaching out tendrils, expanding their small area, and they are still healthy. I've gotten them through the summer, just need to get them through the freezing winter ahead. I am really hoping I can do it. If they don't make it, it's on me, they are doing their utmost to flourish.
