the person who booked my ticket spelled my name wrong even tho i spelled it correctly several times! i never got an email and when i did it was too late and it cost me about 500$ for something that was his fault! i am NOT happy!! UPDATE the person who booked my ticket got a hold of me and is going to refund the xtra money that i had to pay....i'm feeling much better about it now.... thanks (STILL NO REFUND! WILL NOT RECCOMEND OR USE AGAIN!) ok update..... a guy named logan is helping me get my refund........... so i would change my review to a 4 star.... he has spent a lot of time working to get my money back..... but i would say that if there are heavy accents with who you are trying to make a reservation with ask for another rep to work with you so this will not happen to you!

We are truly sorry for your experience, Misty. 💚✈️ You were quite popular among the agents for being very " chill and cool traveller " .....even though what happened with your flight was never our intention, nor does it reflect the values Travelay was founded on. We take full responsibility — even though the issue originated from a technical error on the airline’s end, we should have monitored your booking more closely. We have already made improvements on our side to ensure this does not happen again to any other passenger. We genuinely hope you will give us another chance in the future. To make it right, we would love to support your next trip by covering 10% of your future travel cost with us. Thank you for your patience, and we truly hope to serve you better next time. – Team Travelay 💚

Delta's offer to waive the flight change fee wasn't honored by Travelay!
By Manoshi M.
Response from Travelay· Feb 2, 2026
Thank you for sharing your concern, Manoshi. 💚✈️ We understand your frustration. In this case, the waiver offered by the airline was subject to specific fare rules and booking conditions set directly by Delta. Unfortunately, those conditions did not apply to your ticket type, which is why the change fee could not be waived. We always work strictly according to the airline’s policies and GDS rules, and we strive to communicate exactly what the airline allows in each situation. We truly appreciate your feedback and your patience. – Team Travelay
