The customer service was great and the stove was shipped out quickly. The delivery driver from Fed Ex Freight was a complete ass. Had an attitude from the moment he pulled in. Next time I order something that needs to be sent by freight, I won’t if it’s being delivered by them.

It was nice to do something different. The building we met in could be more organized. People were confused as to which line they should be in. It also would be nice to be able to fill out the release form before the time if the excursion. Many people struggled to fill it out and people just initial it not knowing what the agreed to. Darrel was fun.

I would’ve given five stars if there was slightly more bronze color and not as much black, but they are custom-made so I understand the color variations love the fire pit.

Greg, custom-made pieces carry some natural variation in finish, and the color range on these is part of what makes each one a little different. Honest feedback on the bronze tones is fair, and we appreciate you understanding how these are made. The fire pit itself clearly landed well.
Our fire pit is beautiful & very heavy duty. The fire pit was initially suppose to take about 2 weeks, it took approximately 4.5 to 5 weeks to arrive. Customer Sevice was quick to respond for the most part. This part of my review has more to do with the delivery company than Fire Pit Surplus but I feel the delivery service they work with are a reflection on them. Once shipped we received an email that we would be contacted for a delivery date & time and would need to be home to sign for the delivery. We were NOT contacted for delivery. We arrived home and the crated fire pit was sitting at the end of our driveway INCHES off the street where anyone could have loaded it up before we arrived home. The paperwork on the crate specifically stated DO NOT deliver without signature ...well there was no one home to sign for it!!! Thank goodness it all worked out for our delivery but the next person may not be that lucky.

Nancy, you are right that the delivery service reflects on us regardless of who is handling the final mile. Leaving a crated fire pit at the end of the driveway without a signature, when the paperwork explicitly says otherwise, is not acceptable. It worked out this time, but the next customer may not be as lucky and we are flagging this to the carrier directly. We also hear you on the timeline. Four and a half weeks versus two is a real gap and we appreciate your patience through it. The fire pit clearly delivered on quality, and we are grateful you took the time to lay this out in detail.
Delivery was slow but once everything was done they compensated me.

I would give the fire pit 4.8 stars as the condition was very good. I have use it once and loved it. The only thing I would say is I thought the ring diameter could be a little larger. My particular pit does not have a real large flame but I think that is because of the propane temperature was so low. The gas pressure is related to the ambiant temperature so winter you would expect a lower flame. It could also be my regulator and not the fire pit. No blame on the pit for that, just stating how I like it and why. It was packaged very well from the manufacture. My delivery was the sore spot of the purchase. The tracking order said it would be delivered on a certain day. It was very misleading. It did not show up on the day it said. When I called they said it would be another few days. They claimed they needed to call me to set the delivery schedule. That is not what my tracking information said. I would call the company ahead of time and clarify your delivery time before you take time off work to wait for them all day. My sales rep was Rayden. He was great to work with. Very helpful with all my questions.
