The best of the best, I love FFWD wheels. Very durable and great in all terrains. I love how they also offer many models too. The Falcons are my favorite, great in windy races, rolling and flat courses. They also make my Ventum Z1 to look like is from our space.

Hi SJM, thanks for the review! We appreciate your business and enjoy your new wheels!
I got the RYOT44 wheelset. They look amazing. I'm using 25mm Gavia tires and they measured 28.5mm on this wheels. The hubs are really smooth and the wheels itself look high quality. The box even has the name of the tech that inspected the wheels before they sent them to me. I haven't test ride them yet since is too cold for me here in NY, but I will definitely update the review after I do it. Jay and John were really helpful and so far they still answer all my questions even knowing that I already got the wheelset. Hopefully I can ride soon to do a second or follow up review.

Hi Felipe! We appreciate your feedback and hope you get to enjoy the RYOT44's soon! Welcome to #teamFFWD!
I ordered the F6D FCC wheelset. I am giving them five stars but with there are a couple of things I have small issues with. First of all, there is something in the front wheel. I can hear it rattling around as spin the wheel. It is very quiet and so I didn't notice at first. I tried to get it out but could not. Maybe a couple of tiny pieces of carbon got lose inside? The second is that I am not a big fan of their rim tape. They do recommend wrapping the rim twice but only send enough to do one rim wrapped twice. I couldn't get the front tire to seat with FFWD tape, so I wrapped it with Stan's No Tube tape as the rear wheel seated on the first try with Stan's tape. BUT, that was with a tire I never used before (Cadex) and I later discovered that the tire is notorious for being extremely difficult to get to seat. But with double wrap of Stan's, the tires seated easily on the first try. My only other complaint is that I think the wheels should come with the disk center locks. But, that isn't enough to stop me from buying them again. I had a few questions and summited them online. FFWD was very responsive and helpful. One of my questions was to to make sure which axle adapter to use and they responded explaining it and included a link to the correct adapter. (Another nice thing was they even installed the adapter for me and the 12mm one was in the bag with the other items. I was pleasantly surprised by that little touch.) I've only have 57 kilometers on the wheels so far. I have to say that I am very happy with them. They are definitely fast. They also ride like they weigh less than the FFWD claims. I didn't weigh them before setting them up and I wish I have. They turn and spin up quickly given the claimed weight of the wheels. My ride was on a somewhat windy day and I only felt very light pushes on the wheels. I do highly recommend the wheels and FFWD. The wheels are great, they look great, and you won't see a lot of other people on them at the group rides. FFWD customer service seems to be first rate. If anything changes, I will update my review.

Hi David, thank you for your detailed review and feedback. It is possible that some residual material may have come loose from the inner rim wall or entered the rim during transit. When you install new tires/tape in the future this can be removed by gently shaking the wheel enabling any objects to exit from a spoke hole. When the wheel is in use at speed rotational forces will hold any object in place and should not be audible inside the rim. If you have any further questions in the future please reach out directly to us at [email protected], via livechat on our website or 888-228-3674 ext 1 M-F 10am-5pm pacific. We appreciate your business and hope you enjoy the wheels for many miles!
