EquipReviews of equip.co

Allowed us to choose logical reasoning, psychometric and technical assessments and tailor them, send & track invitations to candidates and pay per assessment with no minimums or subscriptions.

The service is reasonably priced and useful for evaluating job candidates before hiring. It does what we need it to do without being unnecessarily complicated. Overall, a practical tool that delivers good value for the price.

User-friendly, customizable and cost effective.

I run a 40-person SME in Dubai and we're currently hiring across four roles simultaneously — finance, HR, sales, and an intern. Managing that volume without a dedicated recruiter is brutal, and Equip.co has genuinely made it workable. The free ATS is the starting point, but what's kept me on the platform is the AI interview feature. It runs structured, consistent candidate screens without me being in the room, and the output is actually usable — not just a transcript dump. For a founder who was personally bottlenecking every hire, this changed the workflow meaningfully. The chat support deserves a specific mention. Every time I've hit a wall — whether it was a configuration question or something more nuanced about how the screening logic works — the team has responded fast and actually resolved the issue. Not deflected, not pointed me to a help article. Resolved it. There are a few areas I'd like to see improved — mainly around customisation of the additional requirements fields in job listings, and some UX friction when managing multiple active roles at once. But when I raised these directly with the team, the response was constructive and they're clearly iterating. If you're a small business trying to run a credible, structured hiring process without an HR department, this is the tool. The pricing is fair, the AI layer is genuinely useful, and the team is responsive. Hard to ask for more at this stage.

As a Senior Developer at Kotak Securities, I was responsible for shortlisting candidates, and my primary requirement was simple: can they solve medium-level coding problems without AI assistance? Before discovering equip.co, I spent countless hours interviewing candidates who weren't technically qualified, which was frustrating and inefficient. Equip.co has transformed our hiring process. I now share custom test links with candidates, and the platform provides detailed test scores along with a reliable trust score that helps me quickly filter out unsuitable applicants. The time savings have been significant, and the quality of candidates reaching the interview stage has improved dramatically. Recently, I learned that equip.co also offers resume shortlisting capabilities with an intuitive interface. I've recommended that our HR team use this feature for initial screening before sharing test links with relevant candidates. This streamlined approach has made our entire hiring workflow more efficient. Rating: 9.5/10 What I'd Love to See: Integration with LeetCode would be fantastic, allowing us to import their diverse question bank directly into the platform for even more variety in our assessments. Overall, I highly recommend equip.co to any technical team looking to optimize their hiring process and reduce time spent on unqualified candidates.
