I purchased your ear plugs to help block out the sound of my husband's snoring. I felt that they did an above average job of noise reduction but after about 4 hours I woke up with sore ears and pulled them out. Wish you could provide a cure for snoring for the millions of us who love our spouses but need to sleep too!

Dear Susan: For almost everyone, It's really very simple to insert this soft and moldable ear plug and for those we constantly receive glowing reports, but don't feel bad or embarrassed, for our ear plug is different from the expanding foam ear plugs and it can be slightly confusing. Please follow the instructions below for correctly inserting and I promise you, you'll be in for a very very shocking pleasant surprise. 1. Just prior to insertion (work) or (knead) ONE ear plug somewhat vigorously through your fingers for 15 seconds to make it (soft), (moldable) and to disburse the Pure Lanolin throughout the ear plug. Lanolin makes the ear plug (slightly tacky) so that it stays securely in the ear canal and seals it. 2. Then using your index finger, push (Firmly) and (Flatten) the ear plug (IN) and (AGAINST) your ear canal (until you feel it SEAL). IMPORTANT : If it doesn't seal immediately, just keep your finger pressed against the ear plug with slight pressure for a few more seconds and it will warm and seal the ear canal completely. 3. Now take the other ear plug and do the same preparation and insertion for the other ear. Susan, we all wear the same exact ear plug, so please feel free to phone our office for any help. I was very excited to see the reviews on the website from people using them to block out snoring spouses and loud music. My family plays shooter video games while awake and hubby snores a bit more than lightly. I got these and tried them the first night. Even after applying several times to try and get a better seal I found them to be no more effective than the cheap foam earplugs. My experience with the merchant and their processes was top notch but unfortunately they just have an inferior product.

Dear KRR: If 9 out of 10 customers state emphatically that our ear plug is "superior" to any other ear plug in existence, then given that the hearing in all is almost the same, the one customer who is dissatisfied is most likely, not doing something correctly when inserting this ear plug or the customer has extremely acute hearing. I know from what you report, that you tried several times to insert them to where they would obviously be effective; yet you experienced them to be "no more effective" then others. I am in college and my roommate snores very loudly to the point where I couldn't fall asleep, and then if I did fall asleep, I would be woken up by her snoring. I live in New York City, so the noises outside (horns, construction, etc) would keep me awake as well. My dad found you guys online and told me I should give it a shot. I am OVERJOYED with these ear plugs. They block out all noise! I was beginning to give up until I found these. I can now sleep soundly without any interruptions. I will forever continue to buy these! The only downside is that they're gummy, and are tough to get out of my ears without getting residue under my nails.

I purchased these ear plugs not expecting them to help me get a restful nights sleep from my husbands snoring. I was ending up leaving the bedroom to sleep. Since I started using it I cannot believe the difference. I am so pleased as I can return to my bedroom and completely drown out the noise. You saved my life. Thanks.

We have tried many types of ear plugs but these earplugs work the best. Any sound is very faint or not at all

I work graveyards and sleep during the day. Let's just say I don't skip a beat. Doesn't matter who's mowing the lawn or how loud the dogs are barking. If you value your sleep like I do, there's no better ear plugs. I guarantee it!
