BUT 1: Being Beeswax, ((just prior)) to insertion, they have to be (kneaded or worked) between your hands or fingers for 20 seconds to make them (soft and moldable). 2. Then they have to be inserted (firmly enough) and (deep enough) into the ear to SEAL the ear canal. Once SEALED, you'll have the HIGHEST BLOCKING Ear Plug in the world doing what it does best>>>BLOCKING OUT SOUND!!! 3. Thirdly, sometimes women feel that the ear plug is too large and they pinch off a little, inserting a smaller ear plug. Linda, we all wear them too. They Work. When inserting this soft moldable ((Beeswax)) ear plug, just push it in a bit firmly IN, AGAINST & INTO the ear canal >>>> until you feel the ear plug SEALING the ear canal. The pure Lanolin in the ear plug makes it slightly "tacky" so that it stays securely SEALED in the ear canal until your ready to remove it. D. McCuistion, insert the ear plugs like I described above and you notice a big difference in the ear plug's ability to stay sealed.
