Ease in ordering.

I received an incredibly misleading email offering a free product, no purchase minimum required, and products were listed in the email, with the message “ We’ve made it super easy to claim your gift: just tap below to shop in two clicks.” Wanting to understand how to redeem the offer, I contacted customer service through both email and chat for clarification. I was instructed to place an order for one of the products displayed in the email and was told that the purchase price would be refunded. However, only after I placed the order was I informed that the free item was not the product I had purchased, but a completely different product that had never been mentioned in the original email or in any of my correspondence with customer service. As a result, I had to ask the agent to cancel both the order I was told to place and the order for the supposed free product. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience that required a significant amount of time just to understand the offer, navigate conflicting information, and ultimately cancel everything. I have been a DRMTLGY customer for close to 10 years and genuinely love their products, which makes this experience even more disappointing. The misleading email led to unnecessary back-and-forth with customer service and wasted my time that could have easily been avoided with clearer communication.

I was supposed to get a free gift with my next order per my free mystery gift card on my last order. Wouldn't accept the code.
