Thank you for your feedback! Shipping on our website for every domestic customer is a flat rate of $3.98. It can never be any more than that and shipping is free if your order is over $60. This not only includes the postage but the materials to pack up you order as well as the labor involved to pick your items and package it up. This is what is referred to as "Handling". Our tags themselves are very competitively priced when compared to other ID tags available online and at pet stores across the country. Most of these other tags are also thin aluminum, a solid color, wear down in months, and give you very little in the way of designs or style. With over 2,000 available design choices as well as the ability to upload you own photos or artwork to make a truly one-of-a-kind ID tag, we feel that the price is reasonable. Our tags are also made of solid stainless steel and are much more durable than cheap, thin, shallow engraved ID tags. Add to that the fact that every tag we sell is 100% guaranteed for the lifetime of your pet and we don't think $12.99 + shipping is too much to ask. It is the cost of a small pizza and it will keep your beloved pet safe for years.
