DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! Bought winter 2025, because my Aussie had issues with the beeping noise from the plow trucks and other large trucks, and did nothing for him. Couldn't even get them secure over his ears with the velcro mess they use for holding it in place. And doors not reduce the noise. If I can still hear it, it surely is more noisy for my poor dog.

I’m so surprised that these people sell this without any consequences. It’s not gonna help with any type of sound. Don’t waste your money. Shame on you that you prey on people who want to help their dogs survive loud environments!

Recently tried to purchase a toy for my dog for Christmas, the toy I wanted was $24.95, instead of telling me it wasn’t in stock and to pick another toy they sent me a “replacement” that was only $9.95 and that if I didn’t want it to send it back. My card was still charged $24.95 so I asked them to send me a new toy with the remaining $15, but after 10 emails they just refunded it because they didn’t want to eat the shipping cost. Pretty frustrating..

Hi Jake, Thank you for sharing your feedback. When the originally selected toy became unavailable, a replacement item was sent so your order would not be delayed during the holiday period. When it became clear that this solution wasn’t what you were looking for, our team processed a full refund to ensure you were not charged for something you didn’t want. While we understand this experience was frustrating, issuing a refund was the fastest and most appropriate resolution available at that time. Our team always aims to act in good faith and resolve situations fairly for our customers. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will continue improving how we communicate inventory changes moving forward. Best regards, Doggie Hush Team
TOTAL SCAM and zero refunds. This product is CHEAP, poorly made and ZERO sound proofing. WASTE OF MONEY.

Hi Lisa, We are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with us. As shown on our website, our products have been tested by multiple independent labs. They are made from neoprene and feature 5 layers of sound-proof material. We have been on the market for around five years and have thousands of happy customers all around the world. Regarding the refund issue: we clearly state on our website that we have a 14% restocking fee. This policy does not apply to certain items such as clearance products or one-time specials. For those items, the listing clearly states that the refund policy is not eligible. If you need further assistance, please let us know — we’re here to help. Kind regards, Doggie Hush Team
The Doggie Hush headphones unfortunately did not provide the intended relief for my pet during thunderstorms. Despite ensuring a correct fit, my dog still reacted strongly to the thunder. This poor performance was consistent across two different pets (mine and my best friend's), suggesting the headphones simply weren't effective. We've had better results with alternative products."

Dear Tamahara, We’re truly sorry to hear Doggie Hush didn’t provide the relief you were hoping for during thunderstorms. We understand how disappointing that can be when trying to help your dog feel safe and calm. While it sounds like you ensured a proper fit, we’re not sure if the gradual introduction process was fully followed. For example, was the Velcro cutted for a snug fit? And was the correct size ordered based on our sizing guide? Doggie Hush works best when introduced slowly with positive reinforcement, allowing dogs time to adjust. To clarify, Doggie Hush isn’t designed to block all noise or impair hearing—it’s a gentle buffer that helps reduce the intensity of loud sounds like thunder and fireworks. We’ve seen tens of thousands of dogs benefit from our design, but we know every dog is unique. We’d love a chance to make things right—feel free to reach out if you’d like to try a replacement pair or receive our extended training guide. We’re here to help. Warm regards, The Doggie Hush Team
Please don't buy this product. Buried in the fine print is both a restocking fee and a shipping fee if you decide to return it. It's a shady product because most dogs won't wear it. Our dog wouldn't. It's not worth the risk to try and then have to pay.

Hi CFS, We’re truly sorry to hear that Doggie Hush didn’t work as expected for your dog. We completely understand how disappointing that can be. We’re not sure if the included instructions were followed during the introduction process, but we’d be happy to support you further. In fact, we’d love to offer you a new pair of Doggie Hush headphones, and this time you can customize the fit by trimming the Velcro to ensure it’s more comfortable for your dog. We’ve had tens of thousands of happy customers who share how Doggie Hush has helped their dogs stay calm in loud environments—they truly can’t imagine life without it. To clarify: Doggie Hush is not designed to make dogs deaf, nor would we ever support that idea. Instead, the headphones work as a sound buffer, helping reduce the intensity of noise and aiding your dog in gradually tuning out external triggers like fireworks or thunderstorms. Our patented design—backed by real-world testing—works best when introduced slowly, with positive reinforcement. Many customers report seeing noticeable changes in their dog’s behavior within a few weeks, and we’ve included more training guidance on our website if you’d like to explore that option. Regarding your return request, our refund policy, including information about restocking fees, is clearly outlined on our website, though we understand it may have been missed. Please let us know how you'd like to move forward—we're here to help and want to make things right in the best way we can. Warm regards, Doggie Hush Team
I just bought them and they DO NOT work. Our dog still heard everything, rain, thunder, cars etc. He still ran around barking and whimpering during rain storms. He could also still hear his name when he had them on. He also hated the stiff velcro straps that hold it in place on the top of his head and around the neck. When I contacted the company, they actually wrote in an email, that they are not intended to block out any sounds only muffle them which I thought was a bait and switch. Upon sending them back, they deducted $18 from the total I paid ($50). They charged me for the original chipping fee, the return shipping fee AND a restocking fee. I sent the muffs back in perfect condition and returned the free gift (a dog toy) that they had included. PLUS, I was sent a second set by accident and I returned that box unopened. When I reported the extra set and explained that I was going to send it back so they could resell it (trying to help a small business out) they didn't care and didn't offer any remorse about charging me $18 for the restocking fee. Bad customer service, ineffective product. I will be more hesitant to purchase stuff like this in the future. This is why people buy off big businesses like Amazon vs. small businesses anymore. Free returns is hard to beat. Buying and trying this product COST ME money.

this is a cash grab, a waste of money, taking advantage of desperate pet owners. the product doesn't work at all. you can test it out but putting them and pressing over your year and still, u can hear everything loud and clear.. let alone a dog who can hear x time better than humans

Hi Andrei, Thank you for your feedback, though we need to clarify some important points. Our product is specifically designed for dogs' unique hearing needs, not humans. Just like you wouldn't judge children's shoes by wearing them yourself, testing dog headphones on human ears won't give accurate results. Dogs hear differently from humans - they can hear frequencies up to 4 times higher than we can. Doggie Hush is designed to buffer sharp, sudden noises that can be distressing to dogs while allowing them to hear important environmental sounds for safety. Thousands of satisfied customers have shared how our product has helped their anxious pets cope with thunderstorms, fireworks, and other stressful situations. We're a company dedicated to helping animals - in fact, we donate our profits to animal welfare causes. We encourage you to reach out to [email protected] for proper fitting guidance and usage instructions. We stand behind our product with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Best regards, Doggie Hush
