Discount Tire and Fleet Response
Discount Tire and Fleet Response turned a fully documented $676 claim into a 33-day administrative failure. I submitted receipts, photos, supporting documentation, and a quantified demand on April 10, 2026. Fleet Response acknowledged receipt, promised contact within 24–48 hours, then repeatedly failed to follow through. Over the following weeks I was told documentation was “missing,” asked to resubmit already-provided information multiple times, and pushed through repeated administrative resets despite the claim already being acknowledged and fully documented. The claim was ultimately approved in full for the exact amount originally submitted, proving the delays were caused entirely by their internal handling failures. Even after approval, payment processing continued to fail due to incorrect information entry, missed timelines, and repeated excuses. I deal with complex commercial claims and litigation exposure regularly, and the level of administrative incompetence surrounding a fully approved $676 claim was extraordinary. The local store personnel were generally professional, but the third-party claims handling process through Fleet Response was one of the most disorganized and unprofessional consumer claim experiences I have encountered.
