So far I have good time with the plan and structure in place for me to get to where I need to be in my pursuit to land a role in data engineering/Data science. I have been held back by my inaction as I was just coming off a final and need to catch up with the schedules on my plan. The team at Data Engineer Academy have been good in checking things out with me to make sure I’m on schedule. My experience has been great so far with DEA.

I am two months in and I am very happy with the program. An infrastructure for materials and communication is pre-built so there is no guess work while I work with my mentor Yash in 1:1 meetings. If I have academic questions I can reach out and an expert in the topic will provide prompt feedback. It is very important in my case to get help dialing in for job interviews and for me DEA is exactly what I need.

Though I have good IT experience I need to upskill certain area and DE academy is best place as they have already created a perfect platform and so far I have learned a lot. for sure I would recommend to my friends to fill there gaps and upskill.

Even though I’m in the earlier stages, my experience is going well with this program, primarily because I’m guided on what’s actually important to focus on. The resources available are steering me to know where I have knowledge gaps and I’m able to fill these gaps with the curriculum. I’m impressed with the platform and I’m confident that I’ll continue to be as I progress through the program.

I have been in the data processing field for over 30 years. I've done everything: networking, programming, database design, analysis, engineering, and AI. Over time, some of skills became a bit outdated. DEA has gotten me back up to speed in less than a month!
