Data Engineer AcademyReviews of dataengineeracademy.com

I joined wanting to make a push into Data Engineering. They evaluated my strengths and weakness. And created a step by step plan on tasks and activities I needed to complete to give me the foundation to compete in this job market. Weekly check in with my coach to keep me on track. Lessons and modules that guide me on my own pace. With live daily Q&A sessions to clear doubts quickly. It has been a great experience. After passing the mini and full mock interviews on all tasks that I have learned, along with Behavior Interview mocks, I've now gained the confidence that I did not have before.

I joined the Data Engineer Academy 1 month ago, and it has been great! They developed a plan, updated my resume, and hold weekly meetings with my coach. He listens to my concerns and questions, and is patient in providing me with the best help possible.

The Data Engineer Academy gave me real-world, job-ready skills that I could apply immediately. From building ETL pipelines in Databricks to mastering cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, the content was actionable, not just theory. The instructors are engaging, and the community support is unmatched — I was able to land interviews with major companies thanks to the guidance and projects I built. If you’re serious about getting into data engineering or upskilling fast, this is the place. Worth every dollar.

The onboarding process was very informative and smooth. The actual course material is very streamlined and easy to follow. The course is very structured and there are a ton of practice questions on each concept. I was not sure about joining DE academy initially, but now I feel I have the support and guidance I need to reach my goal. The coaches and mentors are amazing and we can connect with them 1:1 as well. Overall this is a great experience so far. Hoping to continue on my learning path to reach my goal soon!

The encouragement from my coach and staff has been inspiring. I enjoy the weekly check-in's as my opportunity to communicate where I am in the program, ask questions and align for what is ahead. Looking frwd to my next mock interview.

Good thing about DE is that you don't need to go out of their course material to learn anything. It pretty much covers everything to become a data engineer and CSM were helpful throughout the journey.

It’s been an amazing experience working with DE Academy to get my dream job as a data analyst. DE Academy facilitates the ability to foster a love of learning, individualized instruction for students depending on their needs, and creating a positive and inclusive environment. What does it mean to be a DE Academy student? It is important to highlight DE Academy’s comprehensive curriculum, hands-on projects, and supportive instructors. Enrolled students can appreciate the practical focus and the ability to build a strong portfolio with the school’s resources. The Success and SQL coaches are truly invested in your education, making personalized adjustments as needed per student. Small class sizes and the incredibly detail-oriented SQL tutorials have enabled me to gain confidence in my coding abilities. The biggest selling point for me with DE Academy – that is so different from other schools - would be the offer of helping place students in jobs, once they have completed the program. Additionally, DE Academy’s positive school climate has had a profound impact on students’ (including myself) success, safety, and well-being. DE Academy provides a valuable foundation for a career in data analysis and engineering with their rigorous programs and prestige in many associated data programs. It's always a good idea to look at the specific curriculum and resources offered by each school to find the best fit for your interests and career goals. I highly recommend DE Academy for its cutting-edge concentrations that can help students drive innovation and expand the boundaries of technology. But the academy also is welcoming and has a nurturing atmosphere. The impact that DE Academy has had on me has been really life changing. My coach, Stefan, has been incredibly patient and knowledgeable in helping me increase my confidence in gaining these skills in data analysis. You will be doing yourself a big favor if you just talk to one of the representatives from DE Academy. They can outline the program for you and show you the steps you can take to get that dream job. The care and attention that DE Academy staff have given to me as a student has far exceeded any of my expectations. Overall, the experience at DE Academy has been positive and I recommend the school and program to any students seeking both a challenging and supportive environment.

The information is great! The support is great! We've even managed to build a little community to support each other in addition to the wonderful teachers, coaches, and mentors. I would like to see a little more structure and live classes taught but this is accommodated by the 1:1 coaching sessions they have available. And they do mini-mock and full-mock interview practices and apply for jobs for you!
