15 days, still no delivery — package now sent back to the airport

Ordered 2 silk pillowcases on July 14 (order FR#1451). FedEx offered a pickup point, which I selected — but the driver went to the recipient's home instead and couldn't deliver. I called immediately to redirect him back to the pickup point. Since then: multiple calls and emails, a promise yesterday that delivery would happen today, then today a surprise €18 customs fee (never disclosed at checkout) — and tonight I find the package has been sent back to the airport. 15 days, endless follow-up, still no pillowcases. Terrible logistics.

We sincerely apologize that our service did not meet your expectations. We completely understand how disappointing it is to have waited so long and followed up multiple times without receiving your pillowcases yet. We have contacted FedEx to verify the latest status of your package. According to their update, the package was attempted for delivery on the 23rd. Since the request to change the delivery address to a pickup point was made very close to the delivery time, the update was not synchronized in time and the package was already in the delivery process. As a result, the driver went to the original recipient address and the delivery was unsuccessful. After the failed delivery attempt, the package was returned to the local FedEx station for a second delivery arrangement. Please rest assured that the package has not been returned to the sender. We have confirmed that it is currently available at the local FedEx pickup point, and you may collect it there. We have also requested FedEx to contact you by phone regarding the pickup arrangement. Please kindly keep an eye out for their call. Regarding the customs fee issue, we sincerely apologize that this was an unexpected inconvenience. If you receive a customs charge invoice, please email it to our customer service team at [email protected], and we will assist you with the customs fee resolution.
