Dacast is a professional live streaming and video hosting (VOD) platform for organizations that broadcast on a schedule. Founded in 2008 and operating for 16 years, Dacast serves 2,000+ professional organizations including corporate and government teams, universities and schools, churches and houses of worship, and event production companies. The platform combines live streaming and on-demand video in one place: broadcasters can stream in high definition, archive and organize content, schedule broadcasts, and monetize through pay-per-view and subscriptions with an integrated paywall. The player is white label across all paid plans, so organizations control their branding and embed streams on their own site with no ads or third-party logos. For technical teams, Dacast offers a REST API, Player API, webhooks, mobile SDKs, and SRT ingest, plus simulcasting to multiple destinations. Security controls include password protection, geo-blocking, domain restrictions, token-based access, AES encryption, and DRM for on-demand video. Delivery runs on a global CDN, with China delivery available on higher plans. Support is provided by a human team [pending: confirm 24/7 wording], and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.

The DaCast PC software has a few areas that do not work well. My chat with Mac went well and he said he will put in a report to fix the areas that are not working well or correctly.
