Hi Randy, we’d love to help. Please contact our tech support at 855.700.2482 option 3. The light you are seeing is the reflection of the IR night vision lights off the glass. Cameras like this aren’t designed to be used through glass at night.

This customer has been very deceitful and abusive from the beginning, including with the content of this review. His original review stated in part “ worked pretty good...”. He shipped the cameras back after being told a return was not approved because the return period had expired, and promptly filed a dispute with his credit card company. His credit card company denied his claim, which is very rare and only happens in the most obvious of cases, and while this process was ongoing he fraudulently attempted to demand an additional refund from our customer support team. When the cameras were received we tested both and confirmed they were working properly. The ball is now in this customers court to receive his products back. If you read our other reviews you will see that many other people have been thrilled with our company, customer service, and products.

Hi Jimmy, we are sorry for the inconvenience. Almost all routers broadcast both a 2.4ghz and a 5 ghz wifi network. The 2.4's get much better range compared to the 5, which is why we opt to use them. We do show that information on the landing page, in our FAQ's, and in multiple emails that are sent out post purchase.
